So Began my Photography Carrer - Eng&Esp

One of the things I am grateful for in life, are the experiences I have had, because in them I have learned many things and it is no coincidence the path we have to live... I feel that as it happens, it is as it should be. When I arrived in Chile, I was determined to work in whatever I could get, like any immigrant, without demanding so much and willing to accept anything worthy that would give me an income to start, however, I always had in my mind that I would get something as a graphic designer and one day I decided to go to Viña del Mar alone to see the city. When I was waiting for the bus at the bus terminal in Santiago, out of nowhere a guy came up to me impressed by my arm tattoo and we started to talk a little, he told me that he was a tattoo artist and I told him a little about myself and after a while talking, he told me that his father-in-law needed a photographer and designer and that he would talk to him about me. After a few days, I received a call and it was the boy's father in law telling me to meet him in a cafe in Santiago and to be honest, I was a little scared because everything was too beautiful to be real, ha ha and nothing, I decided to take the risk and go to meet him and see what he was proposing. When I arrived, apparently everything was normal, so I relaxed and talked with my boss for a long time. I was working there for more than a year, I was very new to photography and although it was a branch I wanted to study, I never thought I would do it while I was working and in that way, you demand much more than you should because you understand that what you are doing, they are paying you and there were many times where I was in a trial and error situation, without leaving aside that Ricardo (my ex-boss) was an extremely demanding person and that made everything more chaotic at the time because many times I had to repeat a product photograph more than 20 times and even so, there were always details to correct and at that time I felt more than once a little personal frustration, but today I am very grateful for everything I experienced, because thanks to that demanding person, I was able to know my limits and refine my photographic eye. So everything we experience, no matter how hard it may seem at the time, in the end, they are always life lessons. It's up to you to see the positive side of it and learn from it.

Una de las cosas que agradezco en la vida, son las experiencias que he tenido, porque en ellas he aprendido muchas cosas y no es coincidencia el camino que nos toca vivir... siento que así como sucede, es como debe ser. Cuando llegue a Chile, estaba decidida a trabajar de lo que fuese, como todo emigrante, sin exigir tanto y dispuesta a aceptar cualquier cosa digna que me diera un ingreso para empezar, sin embargo, siempre tuve en mi mente que conseguiría algo como diseñadora gráfica y un día decidí irme a Viña del Mar sola a conocer la ciudad. Cuando estaba esperando el bus en el terminal de Santiago, de la nada se me acercó un muchacho impresionado por mi tatuaje del brazo y empezamos a conversar un poco, me comentó que era tatuador y le hablé un poco de mí y luego de un rato hablando, me dice que su suegro necesitaba un fotógrafo y diseñador y que le hablaría de mí. Luego de los días, recibo una llamada y era el suegro del muchacho diciéndome para reunirnos en un café que quedaba en Santiago y siendo honesta, estaba un poco asustada porque todo era demasiado hermoso para ser real, ja ja y nada, decidí arriesgarme e ir a conocerlo y ver que me proponía. En lo que llegué, aparentemente todo estaba normal, así que me relajé y conversé con el que fue mi jefe por mucho tiempo. Estuve trabajando ahí, más de 1 año, yo estaba muy novata con la fotografía y a pesar de que era una rama que quería estudiar, no pensé nunca que lo haría mientras estuviese trabajando y de esa manera, te sobre exiges mucho más de lo que deberías porque entiendes que lo que estás haciendo, te lo están pagando y fueron muchas veces donde estuve en una situación de ensayo y error, sin dejar a un lado que Ricardo (mi ex-jefe) era una persona extremadamente exigente y eso lo hacía todo más caótico en el momento porque muchas veces tuve que repetir una fotografía de producto más de 20 veces y aun así, siempre había detalles qué corregir y en ese momento sentí más de una vez un poco de frustración personal, pero hoy en día agradezco un montón todo lo vivido, porque gracias a esa persona exigente, pude conocer mis límites y afinar mi ojo fotográfico. Así que todo lo que vivimos por muy duro que lo parezca en el momento vivido, al final, siempre son enseñanzas de la vida. Está en uno ver el lado positivo a eso y aprender.
