¡Hola, amigos! ¿Cómo están? Hoy estoy súper feliz, pues mi abuelo cumplió 82 años. Se dice muy rápido, pero son muchas las experiencias y vivencias que él ha generado en esta familia. Aunque es el "amargado" del grupo, es la base y el pilar de todos nosotros, al igual que mi abuela.

Hi, everyone! How are you? I’m so happy today because my grandfather turned 82. It’s hard to believe how quickly time has flown, but he’s brought so many experiences and memories to our family. Even though he’s the “grumpy one” of the group, he’s the foundation and pillar of our family, just like my grandmother.

​Este señor cumple 82 años y tengo la suerte de que sigue caminando e incluso manejando. Sobre todo, sigue molestando con su terquedad; y es que él, sin su terquedad, definitivamente no sería él.
​Gracias a Dios, pudimos celebrar un año más donde escuchamos sus canciones. Tuvimos la fortuna de compartir unas salsas con pancito como aperitivo, junto a refrescos y torta. Fue algo bastante sencillo, pero muy reconfortante y lleno de amor.

This gentleman is turning 82, and I’m lucky that he’s still walking—and even driving. Above all, he’s still driving everyone crazy with his stubbornness; after all, without his stubbornness, he definitely wouldn’t be himself. Thank God, we were able to celebrate another year listening to his songs. We were fortunate enough to share some salsas with bread as an appetizer, along with soft drinks and cake. It was a fairly simple gathering, but very heartwarming and full of love.

​Todos nos reunimos en casa de la abuela para compartir, vernos, reírnos y disfrutar de que aún podemos gozar de sus locuras; incluso nos dimos una bailadita. Por esa parte, hoy me acuesto feliz y tranquila de tener un abuelo que, sin duda, quiere lo mejor para todos nosotros.

We all gathered at Grandma’s house to spend time together, catch up, laugh, and enjoy the fact that we can still have fun with her crazy antics; we even had a little dance. So, tonight I’m going to bed happy and at peace, knowing that I have a grandfather who, without a doubt, wants the best for all of us.
