Estuve unos días perdida y es que, bueno, en este tiempo he buscado desconectarme un poco de las redes sociales en general, intentando encontrar una manera de estar más presente. Aunque aquí en mi estado se reanudaron las clases, yo tomé la decisión de no enviar a mi hija por lo que queda de año, que son solo 15 días. Entonces, digamos que he estado a tiempo completo aquí en la casa.
Hello, friends, how are you doing? I was a bit missing for a few days and, well, during this time I’ve been looking to disconnect a bit from social media in general, trying to find a way to be more present. Although classes resumed here in my state, I made the decision not to send my daughter for the rest of the year, which is only 15 days. So, let's just say I've been full-time here at home.
Esto ha sido exceptuando los días que me está tocando cumplir horario en el núcleo, en mi trabajo, que se convirtió en centro de acopio. Hemos estado recibiendo todo tipo de donaciones con una receptividad increíble. Aunque en este punto el flujo de ayuda ha bajado un poco, los primeros días fue realmente impresionante. Pienso que hay que seguir e incentivar a que las personas sigan donando, pues esta tragedia no es de solo una semana, sino de muchísimo tiempo.
This has been with the exception of the days I have to work my hours at the núcleo, my workplace, which turned into a collection center. We have been receiving all kinds of donations with an incredible response. Although at this point the flow of help has slowed down a bit, the first few days were truly impressive. I think we need to keep going and encourage people to keep donating, because this tragedy isn't just for a week, but for a very long time.
Por otra parte, entre tantas noticias tristes, se ha sabido que aún siguen consiguiendo a personas con vida, y esto es una pequeña luz en medio de tanta tristeza. Así que, por ese lado, todavía tenemos buenas noticias. Más allá de todas las imágenes fuertes que ya se están viendo en las redes sociales, me he mantenido un poquito al margen viendo una serie colombiana que me está gustando mucho; esto me distrae un poco la mente de todo lo que se está viviendo actualmente.
On the other hand, amidst so much sad news, we've heard that they are still finding people alive, and this is a tiny light in the middle of so much sadness. So, on that side, we still have good news. Beyond all the intense images already being seen on social media, I've kept my distance a little bit by watching a Colombian series that I'm really liking; this distracts my mind a bit from everything being experienced right now.
