Hay gente mágica, realmente mágica, y no porque puedan adivinar el futuro o hacer magia de verdad, sino por su energía. En mi mundo me he propuesto tener gente así: personas que te impulsen a reírte más, a ver la vida de una manera más simple y sin tantas preocupaciones, sacándole una sonrisa hasta a lo negativo y teniendo una fe incalculable.

​There are magical people, truly magical, and not because they can predict the future or perform actual magic, but because of their energy. In my world, I’ve made it a goal to surround myself with people like that: people who inspire you to laugh more, to see life in a simpler way without so many worries, bringing out a smile even from negative situations, and possessing an unwavering faith.

​Así es salir con mi amiga y, por suerte, con mi mamá también. Somos un grupo de tres que nos la llevamos súper bien, una con la energía más alta que la otra. En este punto llego a creer que mi madre es la que nos mantiene un poco más cuerdas y la que nos acompaña en todas las aventuras; vendría siendo como nuestra representante legal.

​That’s what it’s like going out with my friend and, luckily, with my mom too. We’re a trio that gets along amazingly well, each one with a higher energy level than the last. At this point, I’m starting to think my mother is the one who keeps us somewhat sane and joins us on all our adventures; she’s basically like our legal guardian.

​Esta vez nos fuimos supuestamente a tomar un café, pero se nos hizo súper tarde y terminamos viéndonos a las 8:00 p.m., por lo que un café ya no era tan necesario. Así que decidimos probar unos tragos. Mi amiga es mucho más fiel a la cerveza y mi madre prefiere un jugo natural, pero yo sí me atrevo a probar otros sabores. De verdad puedo decirles que, más allá de lo que consumimos ese día, lo realmente bonito y mágico es nuestra amistad.

​This time, we supposedly went out for coffee, but it got super late and we ended up meeting at 8:00 p.m., so coffee wasn’t really necessary anymore. Instead, we decided to try a few drinks. My friend is much more loyal to beer, and my mother prefers natural juice, but I do dare to go for other flavors. I can truly tell you that, beyond what we had that day, what is genuinely beautiful and magical is our friendship.

​No puedo explicarles el nivel de energía que sentimos cuando estamos juntas; es como si todo mágicamente se acomodara, sin importar lo que esté sucediendo en nuestras vidas. Claro, también es un espacio de reflexión, de contarnos cosas, opinar y aconsejarnos, pero siempre desde la buena intención.

​I can't even explain the energy we feel when we’re together; it’s as if everything magically falls into place, no matter what’s going on in our lives. Of course, it’s also a space for reflection, sharing stories, giving opinions, and offering advice, but always with the best intentions.
