​There are moments in teaching that remind us exactly why we do what we do, transforming a heavy day into a moment of pure gratitude.

​Definitivamente, hay cosas que le llegan a uno directo al corazón. Hoy me sentía muy abrumada y preocupada por tantas situaciones encima; sin embargo, en medio de esa tormenta, ocurrió algo hermoso. Regresó a mis clases un niño que había dejado de asistir y, de pronto, vi cómo se acercaba con una bolsita en la mano. De ella sacó dos corazones bien bonitos que, aunque para cualquiera puedan parecer un gesto sencillo, para mí significan muchísimo y los valoro con el alma. Por detrás tenían escrita la frase «te quiero». La verdad es que no me lo esperaba para nada y, para ser sincera, fue un toque luz enorme en mi día. Tenía la cabeza llena de pensamientos y preocupaciones, pero estos hermosos detalles te sacan por un momento de la realidad y de cualquier peso que puedas estar sintiendo.

​Definitely, there are things that touch your heart directly. Today I was feeling very overwhelmed and worried about so many situations at once; however, in the middle of that storm, something beautiful happened. A child who had stopped attending my classes returned, and suddenly, I saw him approach with a little bag in his hand. Out of it, he pulled two very sweet hearts that, although they might seem simple to anyone else, mean the world to me and I cherish them deeply. On the back, they had "I love you" written on them. To be honest, I was not expecting it at all, and it brought a huge point of light to my day. My head was filled with heavy thoughts, but these beautiful gestures take you out of reality for a moment and lift whatever weight you might be carrying.

​En el aula siempre mantengo el enfoque: para mis clases me cambio el chip e intento ser la maestra firme y estructurada que ellos necesitan, sin perder la disciplina. Sin embargo, ver el afecto sincero de un alumno me recuerda que el amor y la dedicación sembrados en cada lección florecen de la manera más inesperada. A veces, las alegrías más grandes habitan en las cosas más sencillas, y son precisamente esas las que más debemos atesorar.

​In the classroom, I always stay focused: for my classes, I shift my mindset and try to be the firm, structured teacher they need, without losing discipline. However, seeing a student's genuine affection reminds me that the love and dedication planted in every lesson bloom in the most unexpected ways. Sometimes, the greatest joys reside in the simplest things, and those are precisely the ones we should treasure the most.
