Un hermoso fin de semana entre juegos bajo la lluvia y tardes de sol con mi sobrina|A Beautiful Weekend of Rainy Games and Sunny Afternoons with My Niece

Buscar a mi sobrina Gabriela los fines de semana ya se está haciendo una hermosa costumbre en nuestra rutina familiar. Teníamos un rato sin verla y extrañábamos muchísimo su energía, así que fuimos por ella con la gran ilusión de compartir un día diferente. Lo que no pudimos anticipar fue el capricho del clima, ya que la mañana amaneció completamente lluviosa y nos obligó a transformar todos los planes sobre la marcha.

​Al llegar a la casa nos dimos cuenta de que el clima no estaba a nuestro favor, por lo que tuvimos que quedarnos resguardados un buen rato. La lluvia caía con fuerza afuera, pero eso no fue ningún impedimento para que las niñas la pasaran genial. Ellas tuvieron que usar toda su imaginación para jugar dentro de la casa, inventando historias y transformando los espacios en su propio centro de diversión. Entre risas, cuentos y ocurrencias, compartimos un momento muy especial que llenó de alegría toda la mañana.

​Afortunadamente la tarde nos sorprendió con una excelente tregua porque el cielo comenzó a despejarse por completo. Con un mejor clima y un sol radiante, no perdimos tiempo y salimos a disfrutar de una bonita tarde al aire libre. Primero fuimos a comer un delicioso helado para cumplir con el antojo y luego nos movilizamos a una plaza cercana. Allí las niñas pudieron correr, jugar libremente y disfrutar al máximo de la tarde soleada. Verlas reír y compartir tan felices fue el cierre perfecto para un día maravilloso que ya estamos deseando repetir.

Picking up my niece Gabriela on weekends is already becoming a beautiful custom in our family routine. We hadn't seen her in a while and truly missed her energy, so we went to get her with the great hope of sharing a different kind of day. What we couldn't anticipate was the weather's whim, as the morning started out completely rainy and forced us to change all our plans on the fly.

​When we arrived at the house, we realized the weather wasn't in our favor, so we had to stay sheltered for a good while. The rain was pouring down hard outside, but that didn't stop the girls from having a blast. They had to use all their imagination to play inside the house, making up stories and transforming the spaces into their very own fun center. Between laughter, stories, and funny moments, we shared a very special time that filled the whole morning with joy.

​Fortunately, the afternoon surprised us with an excellent truce because the sky began to clear up completely. With better weather and a bright sun, we didn't waste any time and went out to enjoy a beautiful afternoon outdoors. First, we went to have some delicious ice cream to satisfy our craving, and then we headed over to a nearby plaza. There, the girls were able to run around, play freely, and enjoy the sunny afternoon to the fullest. Seeing them laugh and share so happily was the perfect ending to a wonderful day that we are already looking forward to repeating.
