In times of great hardship, solidarity and faith become a community’s most powerful refuge. Last night, with hearts moved yet filled with faith, we gathered to pray a moving rosary and offer our prayers for all the victims affected by the recent earthquake.
Como comunidad, nos pusimos de acuerdo para asistir vistiendo de blanco y llevar velitas blancas, un símbolo de paz, pureza y luz en medio de la incertidumbre. Ver cada llama encendida en las manos de nuestros vecinos fue un recordatorio de que, ante la tragedia, la unión colectiva tiene una fuerza inquebrantable.
As a community, we agreed to attend dressed in white and carrying small white candles—a symbol of peace, purity, and light amid uncertainty. Seeing each flame lit in the hands of our neighbors was a reminder that, in the face of tragedy, collective unity has an unbreakable strength.

For the survivors: We pray for peace, comfort, and strength for all those who today are facing the pain of loss and the difficult task of rebuilding their lives.
Por el eterno descanso: Pedimos con el alma por todas las víctimas que lamentablemente fallecieron. Que encuentren la paz eterna y que sus seres queridos reciban el consuelo que tanto necesitan.
For eternal rest: We pray from the bottom of our hearts for all the victims who have sadly passed away. May they find eternal peace, and may their loved ones receive the comfort they so desperately need.
Por los que aún esperan rescate: Dedicamos una oración especial por quienes todavía se encuentran atrapados bajo los escombros. Pedimos por su resistencia y para que los cuerpos de rescate tengan la guía y la fuerza de encontrarlos pronto.
For those still awaiting rescue: We offer a special prayer for those who are still trapped under the rubble. We pray for their strength and that the rescue teams will have the guidance and strength to find them soon.
