A quiet holiday - Un día feriado tranquilo

Today July 5th here in Venezuela was a holiday. For today I had planned to do some things that in the end I didn't end up doing any of them. In the morning I got up a little late, had breakfast and started to tidy up the house, when I looked at the time it was very late. That's the bad thing about getting up late, time doesn't pay off, besides I had a slight flu feeling and I felt down, I still prepared food and had lunch. Then I took a bath and got ready to go to the house of a seamstress to take some clothes I needed to fix, but when I wrote her to tell her I was going there, she replied telling me that she had gone out and would be back in an hour.
I had no choice but to put on a movie and sit and watch it while I waited. After a while I was provoked by some cotufas, I went and prepared the cotufas, then I ate a samba that I had in the fridge. Anyway, without planning it that term, being my plan for the afternoon, after that I didn't go anywhere, I was too lazy to go out. Later at nightfall I went out to sit in front of my house and my neighbor was with her husband having a few beers and offered me one, I told her just one because I was not feeling well.
Good friends, that's how my day went, I'm not complaining because in spite of everything it was a quiet day, bye, see you next time.

Hoy 5 de julio aquí en Venezuela fue día feriado. Para hoy tenía planeado hacer algunas cosas que al final no termine haciendo ninguna. En la mañana me levanté un poco tarde, desayune y me puse a ordenar un poco la casa, cuando me fije en la hora era tardísimo. Eso es lo malo de levantarse tarde, que el tiempo no rinde, aparte tenía un leve malestar de gripe y me sentía Down, igual prepare comida y almorcé. Después me di un baño y me arregle para ir a casa de una costurera a llevarle una ropa que necesito arreglar, pero cuando le escribí para decirle que iba para allá, me respondió diciéndome que había salido y que regresaba dentro de una hora.
No me quedo de otra que poner una película y sentarme a mirar la peli mientras esperaba. Al rato me provocaron unas cotufas, fui y me preparé las cotufas, después me comí una samba que tenía en la nevera. En fin, sin planearlo ese término, siendo mi plan de la tarde, ya después no fui a ningún lado, me dio flojera salir. Más tarde al caer la noche salí a sentarme al frente de mi casa y mi vecina estaba con su esposo tomándose unas cervezas y me ofreció una, le dije que solo una porque no me sentía bien.
Buenos amigos, así transcurrió mi día, no me quejo porque a pesar de todo fue un día tranquilo, chao, hasta la próxima.
