Hello. It was recently announced that Joselit Ramírez, who is the superintendent of crypto assets in Venezuela, would have been arrested along with other people as part of a police procedure carried out on March 17. The group is accused of charges associated with acts of corruption.

Today social networks such as Twitter woke up flooded with this information, the police operation where Ramírez was arrested is accused of embezzlement and irregularities in processes involving the Supreme Court of Justice, the state-owned Petróleos de Venezuela (PDVSA) and some mayors' offices .

After the news, the national government today, March 18, has made the decision to renew the directive of (Sumacrip) to guarantee the existence of the adoption of crypto assets in Venezuela. some of the names that I was able to rescue on twitter that make up the managerial neck are Héctor Andrés Obregón Pérez, Luis Alberto Pérez González and Julio César Mora Sánchez.

On the other hand, Joselit Ramírez has been in charge of Sumacrip since 2018, he was there from the beginning but before taking the reins of Sumacrip Joselit was harassed for forming a transnational organized gang. During his stay, his fundamental work was to promote the PETRO (PTR) cryptocurrency as a currency for legal use in Venezuela, but this did not have the success that was expected. In fact, to date, no Venezuelan believes in that cryptocurrency.

Without a doubt, this is a small setback for the massive adoption of cryptocurrencies in the country, although the national government of Venezuela has among its plans for 2024 or 2025 to officially legalize the use of Bitcoin as a method of payment for legal use where Venezuelans can pay. with crypto in any establishment.

Let's see what measure the new Sumacrip directive uses with the issue of the massive adoption of bitcoin and what response the Bolivarian government will give to the alleged proposal, let's hope that Joselit has a joint sentence because the citizen are already angry with corruption in the country.
