Traveling experiences

Hello lovelies, welcome to my blog. This is actually my first time posting here in Hive naija.

I do not like to travel, be it long distance travel or short distance travel. Especially when I have to sit for hours in a congested bus.
Buses here in Nigeria like to pack a lot of passengers so at the end of the day you will not be comfortable through out the journey.

*How I pack? *
The quantity of load I travel with depends on how long or short I will stay at a place. If it's two weeks, I take just few clothes. I honestly do not like packing too much clothes because I do not want something that will make me uncomfortable or load that will be too heavy. I only take excess clothes if I will be traveling with my children and husband,that is the only time I take excess clothes especially the clothes of my children.
I take excess clothes when traveling with my husband and children because we might say "we will stay just two weeks" but at the end we stay almost a month. There are certain times that I pack light because I do not plan to stay long, only for me to stay longer than I planned and my clothes were not enough.

Experience
At about two years ago, I traveled to my village to sort some family issues that we had. I planned that I will stay just a week then go back but things did not go as I planned. When I got to the village my siblings were not there, everyone kept on giving one reason or the other why they will be delayed, at the end I had to stay up to a month.
Thank God I stayed that long because had it been I went back without sorting what took me to the East in the first place, it would have been something else entirely.
When I was going back, I met a young lady or young girl(I do not know which one to call her) at the park.
She had this friendly look and I wanted to keep talking to her so we can become friends, but I do not think she was interested in talking to me so I just kept to myself but I interacted with everyone in the bus except her although she kept laughing like everyone.

Truthfully, that is the first time that I traveled and interacted with people. Maybe because it was my language so I had a lot to say to every discussion we all had in the bus, my elder brother also gingered me sha because he was the one that took me to the park that day. He was also interested in the said lady and asked me to send her number when I collect it, so I think it's part of the reason she didn't want to talk to me.
