HELLO HIVE

Welcome to my blog these beautiful Wednesday morning, hope the month of August is being favourable to your and all your dealings so far, today I'll love to share one of the footwear projects that was achieved in a rush while I was trying to beat the deadline agreed with my customer.

I couldn't start work on the footwear Because I had some other tasks that got my busy, and by the time I was done with the other task, I realize I've several work go do, so I began work on the pending footwear projects, and here is the DIY of how I made these particular one.

MATERIALS USED

  • Foreign readymade insole and outsole
  • Leather material
  • Leather lining
  • Gum
  • Open and close flip
  • Dior Logo

  • To make these palm Slippers for my clients, I first cut all the various parts of it, then I rub gum on the leather lining and attached the leather material on it, when it as been joined, I then cut each one out.

  • I then try to join both side together and inserts the Door logo on it.

  • After this I rub gum on the edges and join the flip open and close on it, then I sew all around the upper with a sewing machine.

  • Once the sewing was done and the upper now perfect, I proceed into lasing of the upper Design to the insole.

  • Here I rub gum on the insole and the side of the upper that'll be last(join) on the insole.

  • Once that's was done, the last phrase was joining the insole to the outsole.

Apologies the final stage pictures doesn't look too perfect, by the time I finish work on the Footwear, the customer was already waiting in my store to collect it and I also have other one's to quickly complete work on, so I ask my apprentice to quickly snap and park it for the customer, but on checking my gallery later, I realize they didn't capture it perfectly.

Thanks for staying with me till the last dot, I hope you've had a great view and hope this is worth your time, I wish you all the best in your dealings throughout the month, stay bless.
