Happy ever after

Greatness and a happy ending indeed lies in the path of those who are willing to go the extra mile and do preserve on the paths towards achieving their dreams, this statement is a living testament of my friends success story which entails how he rose from nothing to something, and from grass to grace.

I met Allen during my university days and we also did our NYCS program in the same state, I can remember it didn't talk long before we became friends, reasons to that can't be far fetch as both of us are literally hungry for success and desire to make a decent life for ourselves from a legit path.

But unlike me who as both parents alive, Allen lost both of his parents to a motor accident when he was in his final year in the higher institution, so life became hard for him to navigate, because the only sister his father has, took over all his father property and instead of nurturing him, she sent him out of the house.

And after our nysc program, I was able to get a job, while he couldn't, and since we were very close, I ask him to stay with me, because he as no home to go back to, so he something work as labourers with bricklayer, just to make ends meet, and despite that ,he'll stick make sure to save at least 50% from the 1500 he was paid from working under such conditions,

These lead to my friend work tirelessly day and night just to survive, and to cap that up, he hardly eat, instead he'll tell me he as made a plan to save at least 90% of his total nysc allowance, and then other if his earning, which he plan on using to start up sponsoring his music, because he love to sing and as written down many song, and if that won't work he will use the money to pay for his flight abroad.

I realize he as always nurture the ambition of traveling out of the country to continue is education, by as well reside there, but he time I told me about it, I just laugh it off I say most of the people who get these scholarships are via slot and knowing someone in the upper cabinets, but all this didn't stop him from trying.

If fact he applied for over 30 different scholarship from various schools and country and was not given a positive output in all of it, but fortunately for him, he received a mail one day stating that he as been given a full scholarship to study in a Germany university.

We were home the very day the mail came in, and when we saw it and we stated jumping and jubilating, that's was how he started working on his papers, Visa and the likes, although he was unable to raise the total money for his flight, but we his friends help him out, when his father sister that inherits his father property refuse to help.

And fast forward to today, my friend as finish his master program and got a job in Germany and he his doing perfectly fine, it was such a beautiful thing to witness, because he was able to make it in the end, despite everything that make it look impossible.

My friend his doing fine, he as release over 5 tracks, and is planning to get married soon, I can remember he even tried to get me to come over to Germany, sometime last year, but then I had to stay with my brother at the hospital, so I told him I can't come, he then use the slot he created for me to help his fiancée join him in Germany, and he send me close to $200 to cater for my brother's medical bill then.

His life as really changed fir good and he's having a happy ending.
