Memories of another Yesterday

Since I fell ill two weeks ago, my day-to-day activities haven't been quite eventful; it's been more of a boring same-day routine, but yesterday being Sunday had some liveliness, and due to some of the things I indulged in that spiced up the day a little, although I didn't go to church, in this post today I'll love to tell you about how my day went yesterday, the 10th of March 2024.

So without further ado, let's get to how my day played out from the beginning to the end yesterday. I woke up around 7 a.m. and performed some chores around the house, after which I switched on the TV to play some video games. But not long into that, I remembered I needed to do my laundry, so I ditched the game and started washing my clothes.

I did that for about an hour, and when I was done, I just walked down the street to purchase some fruit, like pineapple, banana, watermelon and milk, to make fruit salad, and have that as breakfast. I went back home to dish it all before sitting in front of it to feast on it majestically, as the doctor recommended that I eat more fruit. That's why I've made it a point of duty to have fruits for breakfast every day.

Once I was done, I took my medicine, and by then the sun was shining with full force, so I quickly took out the solar panel for the rechargeable solar fan I recently purchased, so it could boost and charge the fan to blow some fresh air inside the house. I was just relaxing and chatting online when I got a call from one of my friends. We had some discussion, and I promised to pay him a visit in the next few minutes.

This is where my day goes slightly different from how it usually goes daily, because it's been over a month since I last paid anyone a visit. I'm mostly within the comfort of my house; once I left work, I'd be indoors most days, but with my friend just coming back after weeks of being away, I decided to visit him.

I got to his place and was welcomed by his family, who served me a plate of rice that we ate as we watched TV and discussed life and how things were going generally. We even shared some information about happenings around the town and the like.

And after about two hours there, I bid them farewell and went back towards my place. I decided to visit the market to buy some soup items so I can cook ahead of the new week, as it won't be easy waking up very early to cook soup when I'll have to get to work at least 7:30am, so I brought all the necessities and then went home to start cooking the soup.

While cooking, I went to the line in the backyard to pack the clothes I had placed on the line earlier, and after that, I went back to check up on what I was cooking, as I was also writing my Creative Sunday post about how I assembled the solar fan I recently purchased, and I was able to conclude everything and eat.

That was about it for my day—pretty boring except for the outgoing and the movies I watched after concluding the food I was cooking and eating dinner.
