My Apprentice Made His First Ever Footwear

HELLO HIVE

Greetings to everyone, it's a relief to know it's finally weekend, putting into consideration the stress I past through during the week days, and today I'll love to take you through the first footwear my apprentice made after few month of learning under my tutoring.

It's would be recorded that I talked about how he has made some footwear replica in form a Keyholder, which I share here some few months ago, and ever since then, I've given him other projects to work on, but most were either for him to assist me in the process of what I'm working on or two worked on the other apprentice.

So this time around I drop different materials before him, and ask him to which ever want he like and, then after that, I ask him to make a footwear with the Material he chose, and it was well stated that he shouldn't ask for any help and neither was anyone help in out in the process of him working on it.

Though I later had to intervene in some parts due to some reasons, but he did most of it him, and below is how he did that.

HELLO HIVE

• Leather material
• Linning
• Gum
• Marco size 4
• Nora

MAKING PROCESSES

• He started by cutting every parts of the Slippers, like the upper and the sole.

• He then shape the sole and each part of the upper together, but after this, he wasn't strong enough to cut the marco where the upper with be put through, and that was due to his tender age,so I help him out in that parts, then he put it through the Marco all by himself.

• Lastly, he rub gum on the Nora and Marco where the upper was attached, and after drying for few minutes, he join both together.

• Here is the end product and view of what he made.
