THE BEGINNING OF THE END

There's this common saying that the duration between life and dead is just a seconds, I've heard that on several occasions and usually agrees to it, but today I had a similar experience, although not related to death but I can't help but wonder 'what if it was death', another common saying is that within a picture lies a thousands words, so was and will this particular one remind me of the disheartening experience I had today which I'll be giving you an insight into in this write-up.

The picture above carries a huge message about how my day went and some of the items that plays a big role in saving the day one way or another, below is an insight into all that plays out today and how it relates to the picture above.

I woke up today full of optimism and mindset to put my shit together, publish a blog about this current hive learners feature prompt, before I'll switch off my data connection and create quality time to read without distraction and get myself prepared for the examination I'm having on Wednesday, little did I know that what Lies ahead of me today is far from what I expected.

I already chose a picture I'll be writing about and was in the second paragraph of the article when @moremoney28 pointed my attention to the fact that the picture must be one taken today, so with that realization, though disappointed I didn't read the topic very well, I decided to clear it off and start another one, just immediately I decided to reposition myself and start writing, I realize my phone was about to fall off the phone casing, so I decided to bring it out and refix it, alas.

It was to late, I realize the screen of the phone was what was almost falling off and not the entire phone, and immediately I tried to remove it, I unknowingly detach the screen from the phone and that was the last display I saw before the phone went blank.

I quickly dressed up and took it to and engineer who made some calls and confirmed that he'll visit the nearby market to purchase another screen, so I should come back by 5 pm, I went back home hopeful that I'll at least still get to use my phone again, so I decided to use those period to attend to some house chores like washing, mobbing the floor and several others things.

I had to other phone to check time, so I quickly brought out my wrists watch that I hardly wore, luckily the time is still correct, but it's no where close to 5pm, so I decided to take a nap, I woke up by 6pm and rush down to the engineer shop only to be told that he didn't find the screen and I'll have to wait till next week Monday before he'll visit the major market in the heart of Lagos to search for my phone screen.

That was a devastating news for me, I've had several things I ought to do with the phone, which is now unaccessable, one of which are all the materials I ought to read for my coming exam, most of my contact were also saved to the phone and not on the sim , so this made contacting anyone hard.

Well to cut the long story short, I later borrowed my neighbor phone, inserted my simcard in it and call most of my friends that stays around me, none had a spear phone to share for the time being and it seems as though all hope was lost until I called my friend @joyman who decided to borrow me his phone throughout the night with an agreement that I'll take it back on his way to church.

So the pictures above captures a piece that'll serve as a memory for a while, the wrist watch was what I depend on to check the time while waiting to visit the engineer, the book and biro were meant for me to document some feel details and information I could get from my simcard should Incase I want to call anyone, while the phone casing was that of my friend phone, I actually detach it from the phone when I was trying to insert my simcard into the phone.

I'm still at shock and in disbelief, at a point I felt like one of my goals set on hive would crumble because of these unexpected occurrence, I thought my goals of publishing at least a post every single day of the year will die, I thought powering up at least one hive daily will also not be fulfilled, but luckily for me, my friend sacrifice his phone for me to at least get few things in place before he'll take it back tomorrow.

And with this I'll have to write at least three blog post and schedule each to publish automatically in my absence during the days I'll be away till my phone is fixed, either way , I'll still try to come online to at least reply few comments whenever I got a device to come onboard.

That's about all on my article entry for this section, it isn't one I'm happy about, but then I'm grateful for life, thanks so much for your time, stay blessed.

Note: All photos are mine.

Wow! An unexpected circumstances came to you today. Seriously, there are moments we never planned for but happens unexpectedly but we have no choice than to find ways to get out of them as soon as possible.

In times like this too, hope will be lost especially when you have tried all means but nothing is coming forth. It's frustrating though but we cannot undo what has been done.

That friend of yours saved the day for you which you were able to blog. I hope you try your best to make more posts. Though it is not easy, the Lord is your strength. I hope your phone gets fixed next week too.

I swear it so devastating, probably one of the worst days in awhile, you won't believe I actually walk to all my friends houses but none were at home, before I went back home and got a phone to call them.
Funny enough when I got the phone from my friend midway, I got home and realize I didn't ask for his phone password, by the time I realized it was too late, so I just run down to his house again that moment, so I can at least keep some of my goals alive.

Thanks for your care and concern.

The unexpected things do happen, that is life. I'm glad you can even have one phone to make post till your phone is available.

I hope the Engineer finds the phone screen on Monday, till then we shall miss you in the city.
Best of luck man.

Oh no! I hope the repair person is able to fix your phone and it isn't too costly. We are so dependent on tech now!

I hope he'll be able to get it fix, although for now he's yet to see the screen in the market, which mean I'll probably not be around until Monday.

That's so true about being dependent on tech, take for instance; all the materials I ought to read in preparation for a exam I've on Monday are all on the phone.

There are indeed times life takes us unaware, and in each of these time we discover there are things we don't have control over, however, if we are able to live, we can always focus on things that we have control over and leave the rest for God
