The Ups and Downs of My Hive Journey

Hive has been an amazing platform that has influenced lives positively in diverse ways, from financially to intellectually, amongst many others, to name but a few. I myself have been a beneficiary of HIVE in multiple ways, and that's why I'm still here to date. Besides that, blogging has become a habit that's quite difficult for me to let go of or quit. But then we can't lie that there have been people who wanted to leave or have left due to one reason or another. Have I ever found myself in that situation? Find out about it via my experience shared below.

You see, when I joined Hive Blockchains, I really loved it and enjoyed my time here; besides, it was impacting my life positively and also meeting my financial needs. However, there have been cases and situations that made me want to rethink my stake here, and those are what I want to state below. Firstly, that is how the dispute and war between two whales usually leaves a mark on us, the innocent bloggers who are just finding a way to survive. I really don't like how many whales pick on innocent people because of their anger towards another person, and each time I fall victim, I do wish, like, I could just get the F out of here.

Secondly is the high level of mischievousness among some creators and project initiators. I can vividly remember I was barely a year on Hive when I saw play-to-earn games such as PsyberX called for investors, but at the end of the day, it went down the drain, with my investments gone with it, without the whales having anything to do with helping people recover their money or protecting investors from future harm. The most annoying thing that made me think of leaving the most was when I was planning towards my wedding and had plans to sell some of my Hive Engine tokens, such as BRO and LGM, but at the end of the day, I watched them go down the drain.

It was annoying; I even spoke to a friend that I'm fed up and that I'll leave, but then here I am still because it's still a source of income to me, regardless of how small, and until I'm able to see somewhere better, I guess I'd just stick with Hive. Besides, I'm fond of blogging daily and here, and that's why I'm still here despite the numerous letdowns.
