WILL I QUIT WORKING OR CONTINUE AFTER WINNING THE LOTTERY?

avatar

The idea of winning a lottery is one I believe almost everyone will love, even though those who don't participate can't help but Imagine themselves in the shoes of someone who just won a lottery. Of course, I also wish I could, but the major reason why I'm writing on this is a prompt topic I saw while stuffing through a hive, and today I'll be sharing my thoughts on if I'll still work after winning a lottery.

The prompt question simply asked if we'd still work after winning the lottery. For some, the response to that will be a simple yes or no, but then either would have been promoted depending on the amount in question won via the lottery. Personally, my response to that will be firm, but then I believe it's better if I give an insight into why I'll choose between the two after winning a lottery.

My answer to the questions will be yes at any given time, and the reason I said that goes a long way because, for example, we all know that money is mostly meant to be spent, and the result of that is that the more you spend, the more it decreases. I'm certain we'll all agree that money has a limit, and it'll surely run out one day.

Now imagine you won a large amount of money via lottery and thereafter stopped working, but yet you spent daily and continually lived life to the fullest. As you bought everything you'd ever dreamed of having, you'll certainly wake up one day to realize it's all gone or remained few, and with that knowledge, you ended up panicking on acquiring the job you once bade farewell to.

So in my opinion, even if you won billions of dollars, I'll suggest you keep on working or at least make sure you invest part of that fund in a project that'll regularly yield you more income and interest as the day runs by. Of course, it's good to be content, but I'm certain if you've experienced what it feels like to need something but couldn't afford it due to lack of funds, you'll always work towards accumulating more no matter how much you have presently.

My prayer every single day is to never know a better yesterday, because I believe whoever comes to the consensus that their lives were better in the past than they are now is depreciating, which is definitely not what anyone wants. So to stay relevant and worthy to recon with, we should look into various mediums where we can accumulate more income than rely on the one we already have.

I hope this teaches us a lesson and that we read and understand my point of view on the subject matter. Like I said, contentment is great, so I'm not downplaying the need to be contented, but my focal point in this write-up is for you to never settle for less when there are obviously and opportunities to get and acquire more.

Thanks so much for reading through, I hope these helps you, I'll like to hear from your and know your opinion on this subject matter, so do well to leave a comment below, I wish you the very best in all your dealings this year and beyond.

That's just it oo, working after winning a lottery is the best. Winning a lottery is because you were fortunate not really because you worked for it and it is always wise to work especially as someone that have people around that need your help.

Thank you for giving such response to the question.

Yea you're absolutely correct and get my point, there's a tendency of mismanaging something we don't work hard for, so in other to keep income flowing in and remain in tend. Then the need to work must continue to meet our needs and that of those around us.

I will continue working because money isn't ment to stay we keep spending everyday.
My friend will say the more money the more problem come so you can spend solving them....I really don't know where he got such mentality but I kinda agree with him in some ways.
Imagine dangote the richest man in Africa is still working and producing different products for sales so that he keeps his status and being relevant 🤣🤣🤣🤣then me that just won a specific amount will stop working 🤣🤣🤣🤣Omo I will not quite till money quite.

That's just it o, the problem keeps coming when the money is available, and also you tend not to see this as expensive when there are lots of money with you.

Omo if dangote had stop working, he won't be where he's today. Hustle continue.

You are actually right. Some people will think they don't need to work after winning such amount of money but just as you have said, money keeps decreasing the more we spend and we won't know when it exhaust when we keep spending and not looking forward to accumulating more or putting the money into work to bring more money. This is why investment is also important alongside working to earn more.

Yea that's just it. That's why you'll hear stories of some people how they were once rich but now poor, it's all down to their laziness or reluctant to continue working.

I pray we'll never know a better yesterday.

That's a good argument that I strongly agree with. I'll add to it that the nature of work will probably change if one wins millions or even billions in a lottery, but work will continue nonetheless.

Yea that's true, we may feel to big to work in our previous work, most especially when it beneath our worth in the first place, but then hustle must continue in other places.

Thanks for your input.

In my own opinion, if someone will win a big amount in the lottery and have some knowledge about business, he can stop working and start his own business.

Yes that's also a good idea which is still focus on bringing in more income, rather than stop entirely.

Thanks for your inputs.
