[Splinterlands] CORNEALUS - Art Contest

Here I wanted to represent the CORNEALUS character with a more realistic touch, keeping certain animated details of the original design, and exaggerating some, such as the tentacles, to give a resemblance to the Matrix robot hunters.

Acá quise representar al personaje de CORNEALUS con un toque más realista, manteniendo ciertos detalles animados del diseño original, y exagerando algunos, como los tentáculos, para dar una semejanza a los robots cazadores de Matrix.

Here I first visualized in detail the anatomy of some eyes, as well as the design of the robots, and with a clearer idea I drew a simple sketch. Then I drew this same sketch in grayscale to have a clearer idea of the details I wanted.

Acá primeramente visualice detalladamente la anatomía de algunos ojos, además de ver el diseño de los robots, ya con una idea más clara trace un boceto sencillo. Luego este mismo boceto lo dibuje a escala de grises para tener una idea más clara de los detalles que quería.

For this step I opaqued the grayscale layer and started drawing directly the design in color, starting with the eyeball and making all the details, from the arteries to the iris, the pupil and the tentacles that were in the foreground.

Para este paso opaque la capa de escala de grises y empecé a dibujar directamente el diseño a color, comenzando por el globo ocular y realizando todos los detalles, desde las arterias hasta el iris, la pupila y los tentáculos que estaban en un primer plano.

For this step I continued designing the other tentacles, I also started to add some details of arteries in them and light and shadow effects.

Para este paso continúe diseñando los otros tentáculos, además empecé a agregarle algunos detalles de arterias en ellos y efectos de luces y sombras.

In the final step, I enhanced the shadows and added strong lights as reflections in the pupil of the eye, I also created a copy of the eye and placed it in the background to create a swarm effect. To finish I added a background with a nebula design which was great for the theme.

En el paso final, realzo las sombras y agrego luces fuertes como reflejos en la pupila del ojo, además cree una copia del mismo y la ubique en el fondo para crear un efecto de enjambre. Para culminar agregue un fondo con un diseño de nebulosa el cual quedo genial para la temática.
