I comment for this work the beginning was quite eventful, there are times in the process of creation where it seems a lie, but the technique of drawing is forgotten a little, perhaps because of life concerns one loses focus on the drawing, and this was one of those days, I started as usual doing the sketch, which was not the biggest problem, then I began to place the base color, I chose quite desaturated tones and with little brightness, leaning to the violet, so I was varying these colors a little until the time came to mix them, I also designed in a very simple way what would be the character's clothing, hair and spear, to later give the details. A trick that I usually use for the creation of dark or gloomy characters, is to place the background directly in black color, this helps me to enhance better the dark tones of the work.

Les comento para esta obra el inicio fue bastante accidentado, hay veces en el proceso de creación donde parece mentira, pero se olvida un poco la técnica de dibujar, quizás por preocupaciones de la vida uno pierde el enfoque en el dibujo, y este fue uno de esos días, empecé como siempre haciendo el boceto, el cual no fue el mayor de los problemas, luego inicie a colocar el color base, elegí tonos bastante desaturados y con poco brillo, inclinándome a los violetas, así fui variando un poco dichos colores hasta llegar el momento de mezclarlos, también diseñe a manera muy simple lo que sería la vestimenta del personaje, el cabello y la lanza, para más adelante darle los detalles. Un truco que suelo usar para la creación de personajes lúgubres u oscuros, es la de colocar el fondo directamente de color negro, esto me ayuda a realzar mejor los tonos oscuros de la obra.

Until the previous steps I had no major problem, the artistic blockage was mainly in the following steps, where I begin to detail the features of the character face, step that I consider the most important of all, as it is the part of the drawing that connects with the viewer, I started making the eyes but I did not feel very comfortable with the result, I simply was placing the colors of the eyes and trust the technique that he applied, which consists of adding continuous layers of shadows to achieve the volume and depth of the features, so I continued with the nose (which did not give me many problems) until I reached the mouth, the latter if I had to do it separately, in other layers to have more control in the base colors, once I had an acceptable design I joined the layers to the face and began to blur and blend to better integrate the parts, finally I began to add the lights and effects of brightness, this step gave life to the drawing and greatly improved its final appearance. A piece of advice if you have doubts in your works, finish them until you see the final result, maybe you will be surprised.

Hasta los pasos anteriores no tuve mayor problema, el bloqueo artístico se dio principalmente en los pasos siguientes, donde empiezo a detallar las facciones del rostro personaje, paso que considero el más importante de todos, ya que es la parte del dibujo que conecta con el espectador, empecé realizando los ojos pero no me sentia muy cómodo con el resultado, simplemente fui colocando los colores de los ojos y confíe en la técnica que aplicó, la cual consiste en agregar capas continuas de sombras hasta lograr el volumen y profunidad de las facciones, así seguí con la nariz (la cual no me dio muchos problemas) hasta llegar a la boca, esta última si tuve que hacerla a parte, en otras capas para tener un mayor control en los colores bases, una vez que tuve un diseño aceptable uni las capas al rostro y empecé a difumiar y mezclar para integrar mejor las partes, finalmente empecé a agregar las luces y efectos de brillos, este paso le dio vida al dibujo y mejoro bastante su aspecto final. Un consejo si tienen dudas en sus obras culminenlas hasta observar el resultado final, quizás se lleven una sorpresa.
