In the garden - black and white celebration part i.

For these who are reading the titles of the posts, yes, this post is not an exclusion and don't bring something different in terms of finishing of my images. They are as usual finished in black and white, because the photographs where planned and the vision of searching the objects for this series was dressed to the celebrating Black and White tones.

Yesterday on the morning, i worked in my garden - it was first time of cleaning and arranging the things in the garden after the long winter and very busy month March. I worked under the rays of the spring sun and spontaneously decided to photograph the garden stuff after the finishing of my work.

For these who don't live in a village or in the private house with some small or big garden around, the work in the garden is neverending. Of course everything is depend on your OCD level, but believe me, these is a work for every single day. Especially during the Springs and Autumns.

I finished some part of the work, which i planned to finish this weekend and took a camera. This time, after the long period of not using it, my decision falled on the 13-years old DSLR - my workhorse Canon 5d II. A few weeks ago i took it to the local lab for the sensor cleaning process, because it was dirty even more that my garden after winter.

I put the old and unused around 100 years Canon 50mm 1.4 lens and started the exploration journey. My prefered Focal Length always was 28-35mm, its why i don't use this lens too often. But this time i enjoyed it, even here and there i felt how cropped my frames and the compositions.

Do you know that the portraits of many of unanimated garden objects are not less beautill than portraits of people.
And i say you this, when i always (or almost always) prefer to have people inside of my compositions :-))

I was convinced once again how perfectly working this old stuff - both, the camera and the lens, made they have done a loooong way with me. I hope thy will stay working for some more years.

Stay tuned for the next series of this session and for another very special and a nostalgic reportage, which i photographed yesterday during developing process of the roll of Bergger Pancro 400 film. I exposed it month ago with the beautiful, fully manual Holga camera.

Nice :) I have similar working gloves with holes at the fingertips (that I need to replace but I try to use as long as possible), they definitely won't look good in color :)
