Larnaca, Cyprus - Church of Saint Lazarus on film. (series of images).

In 2017 I attended my friend's rock'n'roll band The Great Machine during a few days of their trip to Cyprus where they performed live at the psychedelic stoner rock festival Into The Limbo, which took place at the abandoned village of Agios Sozomenos.

After the fest, we had different flights back to TelAviv, and I enjoyed my few hours walking in the streets of Larnaca while I waited for my flight.

My goal of the stay a little bit longer in the Larnaca city was my willingness to see something else, instead of the only music fest and the beautiful villa, where we spent a few days of our "vacation" there. I had a few unexposed frames in the loaded Kodak Portra 160. Additionally, I never visited Larnaca before this, and wanted to plan my next flight there - just to spend a few days in some of the districts of this city.

During my long walk along beautiful streets, I arrived at the old center of Larnaca and found this ancient building of the Church of Saint Lazarus (as I found the name of this place thereafter).

"The Church of Saint Lazarus, is a late-9th century church in Larnaca, Cyprus. It belongs to the Church of Cyprus, an autocephalous Greek Orthodox Church." (from wiki) - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Church_of_Saint_Lazarus,_Larnaca

I'v tried to let you a message on Noise, but Ican't.
The scanning was set at a very low resolution and the colour space didn't fit wit the film. Probably in automatic mode.

sure my friend.
right now i have some problems scanning the negatives with my Epson V800.
slides and BW negatives are resulting very nice, but not the color negatives. the colors are going too distorted. I tried different software but nothing helped. The only Silverfast is doing it right but I need the full version of this application and its around $250. Lets see :-)

I like how these turned out! The "bubbles" on the left of that first picture really give it a unique feel. Really nice analogue vibe going on here.

It's great that you had the opportunity to get out and about and see some things. That's often my goal when traveling, too. Nicely done!

Thank you Victor.
I'm often doing this on my far and the local trips. To get lost is to out of the comfort zone of the regular perception. Especially when you aboard :-)
