Saved from the fire tree or the power of a single image (not a series of photographs).

As you know, during 2021-22 I documented the life of the burned in the huge fire life of the Sattaf mount, in the Jerusalem forests area. Right now all around this mount is empty, the mount is black and bald by itself. All the burnt remains of trees were cut and taken out of the place. Not an easy sight, especially if you are familiar with this place and know exactly how different it looked before the happened here fire.
I found this tree standing alone, close to the road, saved from the fire. I contributed this image today to the @travelcontest Beauty of One Tree - TRAVEL CONTEST #113.

Beautiful capture. It’s sad how people sometimes don’t take fire precautions, and cause a disaster.

you're right. and an investigation just found no evidence of how this fire was started, some say by terrorism purposes.
