Surfer of Jisr Zarqa sea shore or the power of a single image (not a series of photographs).

Hello, here it's me again with a single image.
I love the moment, that I photographed and I don't think that I have to add here some bunch of photographs just because the fact (and the Hive community rule) that only posts with multiple images reward more attention and more $.

I meet him in the evening on the Jisr Zarqa fishermen's village sea shore. We spoke a little bit and found from the short conversation that we are both in love with film photography. He just started some time ago using his manual Yashika camera and had a few questions to ask me. Finally, it was nice to talk and to photograph him. I took this image just a few seconds before our conversation started. He just saw my Ricoh camera and was interested to know a little bit about it.

I agree as sometimes you want to share those moments on the chain and what a great moment this must have been for you. Lovely photo too.

I don’t think that posting so many photos you can earn more or being followed more, I think that you are special in capturing all the photos that you post and selecting the right title and the right words to describe them. 🤍

no no, the single image post is never rewarding like multiple image posts.
there are reasons for this as well in many communities this is written in their rules as well
in the Black and white community - "Single image posts will not be curated"
Photofeed community - "Laborious/Long Photo Posts"

As i understand - the reason is - every post is a blockchain block. bigger posts - bigger transactions.
the mana of crypto is not coming from anything.
i tried to find some explanation but unsuccessfully
but, by my expiration and statistics here - no one of my posts with a single image got any curation from the top-level curators like curie. for example. So there the rewards are low.
the quality is not always the real reason here.
you can experiment - go to a walk, shoot every single tree on your way with your smartphone
put all this together, and write some text about how fun was to walk and to shoot and see.

I completely agree with you that it is not necessary to upload multiple images. In fact, many times it would not even be necessary to accompany them with an extensive text, since some images speak for themselves, and there is also a magic in the multiplicity of interpretations and evocations that a single, simple photograph can bring.
