It's what i see everywhere i go.
It's always was a kind of belief, that reading or looking for an additional information people are more intellectual. I remember my childhood, when books was the only way to find some interesting information. Sometimes we looked for it in the special magazines or newspapers. Weekly i spent a lot of time in the central library, located in the center of our city. Especially, the silent of this place attracted me and pulled me in like a magnet.
These days, everything (or almost everything) is exist on the small screens of our smartphones. Every possible information.
But seems like these screens are attracting people for something different. Tiktok and other stuff is more popular than reading science fiction books (or whatever genre). Today the information "should" be easy understanding, non-filling memory, not digging or abusing us to think about what is on the screen. 15-30 seconds for every "orator", mostly not fully listened.

I just finished the "Inter Ice Age 4" by Kōbō Abe and as usual gave myself a few days to relax and to reflect on what I've read, what i experienced during the process of reading.
Now started The Trial novel by written by Franz Kafka in 1914-15 and published only in 1925. I'ts so strange that this 100 years old narration is literally reveals same problems of our modern society. Nothing is changing - only the source of obtaining information and its quality.
