Hello everyone. I decided to venture back into the Hive community and its ecosystem as before. I was an active member from 2022-2023.

But a new account? I decided on this after getting to know another community, Hive Learners, where an introduction is required to start in the community. So, what better than a new profile without being a mess with random content like the old one.

Introduction

So starting from scratch. Hello, my name is Welliton, and I'm Brazilian, currently living in São Paulo with my girlfriend. I really like tattoos and have some art scattered across my body. Although I don't work professionally with what I'm going to mention, I have some interesting hobbies like Graphic Design, Game Design, JavaScript Programmer.

I discovered the Hive Blockchain and its ecosystem through the game Splinterlands while trying to sell some monster cards. After that, I started using the PeakD platform and became a big reader; later on, I began creating posts for the weekly contests promoted by the Splinterlands team.

Since then, I've been exploring new horizons on the network, expanding my knowledge by creating various posts. I was quite active in the #HiveGaming and #LeoFinance communities during their October campaign, which I believe was my peak involvement with the ecosystem. I also thank the support since the beginning of the Brazilian community #HiveBR.

Shared knowledge

No random posts this time, like discontent texts with other users or various communities; I have my own experience that this won't lead me anywhere. In future posts, I plan to share my knowledge gained over these years, starting with Game Design in general. This involves everything from programming to finalizing the art, a great learning experience to become an indie game developer or part of modest and small teams and studios.

I'm not sure if the #HiveLearners community is suitable for embracing this topic. I would have to consult @lazy-panda or @kronias about this (Sorry to mention gentlemen, but could you respond to me in the comments if this is accepted?).

Reason for changing the account

You can check on my old profile @wlffreitas that I've already liquidated a good portion of my Hive Power, and I intend to leave it at zero. This is because I plan to make the profile a bit more dedicated to Web 3 / Web 2. Besides focusing on a fixed subject as I mentioned, to make it something unique and appealing to the reader and those interested in the subject I share.

I decided to use the name @vicvondoom on the social platforms I will continue with, but what is this name? It is Victor Von Doom, the alter-ego of Dr. Doom - Doctor Destiny.

Olá a todos. Decidi me aventurar novamente na comunidade Hive e todo seu ecossistema como antes. Já fui um membro ativo entre 2022-2023, até esse momento utilizando a conta @wlffreitas.

Mas uma nova conta? Eu decidi isso após conhecer outra comunidade Hive Learners, na qual é necessário uma introdução para dar início à comunidade. Então, nada melhor que um novo perfil sem ser uma bagunça com conteúdo aleatório como o antigo.

Introdução

Então começando do zero. Olá, meu nome é Welliton e sou Brasileiro, atualmente moro em São Paulo com minha namorada. Gosto bastante de tatuagens e tenho umas artes espalhadas pelo corpo. Embora eu não trabalhe profissionalmente com o que irei mencionar, tenho como hobby algumas coisas interessantes como Design Gráfico, Game Designer, Programador em JavaScript.

Conheci a Hive Blockchain e todo seu ecossistema de início através do jogo Splinterlands enquanto tentava vender algumas cartas de monstros obtidas. Após isso, comecei a frequentar a plataforma PeakD e a ser um grande leitor; depois, passei a criar postagens para os concursos semanais promovidos pela equipe do jogo Splinterlands.

Desde então, tenho buscado novos horizontes na rede, expandindo meu conhecimento criando diversas postagens. Já fui bastante ativo na comunidade #HiveGaming e #LeoFinance durante sua campanha de Outubro, na qual eu acredito que foi meu ápice de envolvimento com o ecossistema. Agradeço também o apoio desde o início da comunidade brasileira #HiveBR.

Conhecimento compartilhado

Nada de postagens aleatórias dessa vez, como textos de descontentamento com outros usuários ou comunidades diversas, sou experiência própria que isso não irá me levar a caminho nenhum. Pretendo publicar nas postagens futuras meu conhecimento obtido nesses anos, começando pelo Game Design em geral. Isso envolve desde a programação até a finalização da arte, ou seja, um grande aprendizado para se tornar um desenvolvedor de jogos indie, ou de equipes e estúdios modestos e pequenos.

Eu ainda não sei ao certo se essa comunidade #HiveLeaners seja adequada para abraçar esse assunto. Teria que consultar @lazy-panda ou @kronias sobre isso (Desculpe mencionar senhores, mas poderiam me responder nos comentários se isso é aceito).

Você pode verificar em meu perfil antigo @wlffreitas que já liquidei uma boa parte do meu Hive Power, e pretendo deixar o mesmo em quantidade zero. Isso é devido que eu pretendo tornar o perfil um pouco mais dedicado para a Web 3 / Web 2. Além de focar em um assunto fixo como mencionei, para tornar algo único e atrativo para o leitor e a quem se interessa pelo assunto compartilhado por mim.

Resolvi utilizar o nome @vicvondoom nas plataformas sociais que irei prosseguir, mas o que é esse nome? Trata-se de Victor Von Doom*, o alter-ego de Dr Doom - Doutor Destino.
