Hunting Beetles in the Park - Epilachna
Good night all friends, greetings to all of us, may we always be given health and success
As for this opportunity, I will again try to share some photos of a beetle that I found in the garden behind my house some time ago.
As usual, after coming home from work I took a moment to go to the garden while looking at some of the plants I had planted there, not forgetting where I was going, I continued to bring a macro lens as a tool for me to get some photos of small animals.
First this beetle fell on my hair and I tried to pick it up with wood and put it somewhere so I can take some photos with different positions, after taking some photos, then I tried to find out the type of this beetle using a goole lens and some of the photos that I attached the results all said the type Epilachna .
Epilachna is a genus of beetles in the family Coccinellidae, including several pest species, such as the Mexican bean beetle (Epilachna varivestis).Wikipedia
For me this beetle is very unique and beautiful, with branched fur and at first glance it looks like a hedgehog's fur, has white fur and is very small. But I don't dare touch it whether the beetle's fur is hard or not, I'm afraid it will itch if I touch it
those are some photos that I can share this time, hopefully I'm not mistaken in mentioning the name and type of this small animal, because several times I looked for it which he said was a species of beetle. If I'm wrong I'll immediately edit it again, all the photos above are photos that I took myself
Wow these is such a beautiful sight to behold, you took lovely shoot, these is the first time I'm seeing these creature.
