Forgotten Friend (Poetry)

we were common friends if I say,
So will this be equally away from the truth?
between our steps was the distance,
the reason for this can be anything,
the dream & destinations were something else,
probably for both of us,
Or maybe because you were you,
And I was I.

Despite being tied in an unknown relationship,
it is also a reality that,
Staggering on a dark road,
Ever haven't i held your hand,
Although your hands had always held,
My troubles and my difficulties.

Innocence falling from my shoulder,
You never extend your support,
After this we both knew that,
It was only precautionary.

Just ahead of my every step,
Was always present,
Your invisible palm,
I ever consider affection as a word,
Not counted otherwise,
These are exactly equal to your name.

if friendship is for life,
If we had weighed into the scales,
Your weight would ever be searched,
So of intimacy, care and belonging.

In this happy journey of friendship,
It was not such a station,
Whose name was love,
Started to be for you and the world,
Have moved forward on the path of love.
smiling I wrote on your relationship book,
That friendship only means friendship....

The person may change or move on, but the friendship is eternal. That one moment exists in an eternity in your heart and soul. Even if your friend betrays you that moment of friendship exists in eternity and is bound in love. What a friend we have.
