My review of Zealy's campaign | A new era of LeoFinance 💜 By Vikvitnik

Yesterday came to an end the LeoFinance adoption campaign through the Zealy platform. A campaign that started on April 30th and will run until June 10th.

El día de ayer llegó a su fin la campaña de adopción de LeoFinance a través de la plataforma Zealy. Una campaña que arrancó un 30 de Abril y que se extendería hasta el 10 de Junio.

General opinion

A campaign that had a great incentive, as participants could aspire to enter the $10,000 USD and 200K HP in delegations, which by the way I think was a very good incentive to seek mass adoption and attract attention to a site that, throughout the campaign, did not stop for a moment to stop updating. That said a lot about the commitment of the developers and those who managed the campaign to make everything happen quickly and spontaneously, but also in a transparent way.

Una campaña que tenía un gran incentivo, pues los participantes podrían aspirar a entrar en el reparto de $10,000 USD y 200K HP en delegaciones, que por cierto creo que fue un muy buen incentivo para buscar la adopción masiva y atraer las miradas sobre un sitio que, durante toda la campaña, no se detuvo ni por un momento en dejarse de actualizar. Eso decía mucho del compromiso de los desarrolladores y de quienes administraban la campaña para que todo se dé de forma rápida y espontánea, pero también de manera transparente.

In the course of this, Power UP of the $LEO token has been done in large quantities, which showed the support for the community that everyone wanted to be part of (including me). Also people outside of Hive became part of something big, and it was a great success. Not only the currency was boosted by these decisions but also the acceptance of what was proposed, wanting to be part of something that would change what was known as Web3 in a before and after. Different people could now join this adventure with minimum requirements; never as simple as it is now.

En el transcurso se ha hecho Power UP del token $LEO en grandes cantidades, lo que denotaba el apoyo hacia la comunidad de la que todos querían pertenecer (me incluyo). También gente fuera de Hive llegó a ser parte de algo grande, y fue todo un acierto. No solo la moneda se vio impulsada por estas decisiones sino también la aceptación de lo que se proponía, queriendo ser partícipe desde el inicio de algo que cambiaría en un antes y después lo conocido como Web3. Distintas personas ahora se podían unir a esta aventura con mínimos requisitos; nunca tan sencillo como lo es ahora.

We can also mention how the site evolved in an amazing way. It could be said that every day we noticed a new and very favorable change that made navigation interesting and enjoyable. Every now and then an update pack would arrive that would surprise us even more, the good thing is that we could give feedback about it and participate.

También podemos mencionar como fue evolucionando el sitio de una manera asombrosa. Podría decirse que cada día notábamos un cambio nuevo muy favorable que hacía que la navegación se volviese interesante y de gran disfrute. Cada tanto llegaba un pack de actualizaciones que nos terminaba sorprendiendo aún más, lo bueno es que podíamos dar feedback sobre ello y participar.

The campaign in my opinion was very hard, but that depends on the person and the energy he/she has. In my case I managed to position myself in the top 50, although I did not reach the performance I expected. I had to opt for another strategy, but everything happened so fast that when we wanted to see it, there were only a few days left. Although this makes us learn for another time, because we already know what we have to do to advance faster and climb positions in a more optimal way.

La campaña en mi opinión fue muy dura, pero eso depende de la persona y las energías que tenga. En mi caso logré posicionarme en el top 50, aunque no llegué al rendimiento que esperaba. Me faltó optar por otra estrategia, pero todo se dio tan rápido que cuando quisimos ver ya faltaban muy pocos días. Aunque esto nos hace aprender para otra vez, pues ya sabemos qué debemos hacer para avanzar más rápidamente y escalar posiciones de una manera más óptima.

During the campaign we were able to meet very good people with whom we had to interact, at the beginning we had to, because we needed to do it to carry out the missions, but then it was a process that happened by itself and we ended up making some friends. It was very good to do this kind of interaction because we found our human side, reading each other, being interested in each other in such a way that when we touched on certain topics, we could empathize.

Durante la campaña pudimos conocer muy buenas personas con las que tuvimos que interactuar, al principio forzosamente, pues lo necesitábamos hacer para realizar las misiones, pero luego fue un proceso que se dio solo y uno terminaba generando alguna que otra amistad. Fue muy bueno hacer este tipo de interacción porque nos encontrábamos con nuestro lado humano, leyendo al otro, interesándose en él de manera que cuando se tocaban ciertos temas, uno lograba empatizar.

In terms of content creation I was able to learn many new concepts about finance since I had to resort to using the glossary. I was also able to find my artistic side by making a series of drawings, which although they are not professional and I would be inclined to say that they are quite simple, I was able to enjoy them and know that I am not drawing so bad after all. When I had to draw I felt very good, it was a concentration and inner peace that made it not exhausting or tedious, and if I had not run out of time, I would have surely done one more; the last of them.

En cuanto a la creación de contenido pude aprender muchos conceptos nuevos sobre finanzas ya que tuve que acudir a usar el glosario. También pude encontrar mi lado artístico haciendo una serie de dibujos, que si bien no son profesionales y me inclinaría a decir que son bastante simples, sí los pude disfrutar y saber que después de todo no dibujo tan mal. Cuando tuve que dibujar me sentí muy bien, fue una concentración y paz interior que logró que no sea agotador ni tedioso, y si no me hubiese quedado sin tiempo, seguramente hubiera hecho uno más; el último de ellos.

I definitely had my eye on this campaign and my commitment was there from day one. However, I did not have a strategy in place and when we were finishing I realized what I should have done first to gain more experience points. Even so, it was not in vain to have done other types of missions, because if it were not for that, I would not have learned something as valuable as learning and gaining new knowledge, for example about finances.

Definitivamente tenía puesta la atención en esta campaña y mi compromiso estuvo desde el primer día. Sin embargo, no tenía una estrategia hecha y cuando estábamos finalizando me di cuenta qué era lo que tendría que haber hecho primero para ganar más puntos de experiencia. Aún así no fue en vano haber hecho otro tipo de misiones, pues si no fuera por ello, no habría aprendido algo tan valioso como lo es aprender y obtener nuevos conocimientos, por ejemplo de finanzas.

There were also events where we had to use Threads to interact and that was something that tested the capacity of the site, we were more and more committed. I know I put in a lot of effort and I was able to surpass 2K threads, however I didn't think it was possible to do another thousand, and that's why I admire those who surpassed those numbers with so much dedication. I think we are all amazed by the way TaskMaster manages to break records, reaching almost 10K Threads at the end of the campaign, that's more than 3 times what was required in that mission, crazy!

También hubo eventos en los que teníamos que usar Threads para interactuar y eso fue algo que puso a prueba la capacidad del sitio, cada vez éramos más y mucho más comprometidos. Sé que me esforcé bastante y pude llegar a superar los 2K de threads, sin embargo no creí posible hacer otros mil, y es por eso que admiro a quienes superaron esas cifras con tanta dedicación. Creo que todos estamos asombrados por la forma en que TaskMaster logra romper records, llegando casi a 10K Threads al finalizar la campaña. ¡Son más de 3 veces lo requerido en esa misión, una locura!

I think that the use of social networks was very useful to give visibility to the platform, as it is a way for more people to choose to join such an adventure and find great opportunities in it. We all have the possibility to grow in different ways and that is very good. There were some missions that required it, although there were many of us who could not find a way to make our content go viral. However, it was not impossible, since there were people who succeeded in the different social networks that made us participate. If we want the adoption to be massive, without a doubt we need to go to this type of web.

Creo que el uso de las redes sociales fue muy útil para dar visibilidad a la plataforma, pues es una manera de que más gente opte por unirse a tamaña aventura y encontrar en ella grandes oportunidades. Todos tenemos la posibilidad de crecer de distintas maneras y eso está muy bueno. Habían unas misiones que requerían de ello, aunque fuimos muchos los que no encontrábamos como hacer que nuestro contenido se volviese viral. Sin embargo no fue algo imposible ya que había gente que lo lograba en las distintas redes sociales que se nos hacía participar. Es que si queremos que la adopción sea masiva, sin dudas necesitamos acudir a este tipo de web.

In my opinion it was very helpful to use other media to make the campaign successful. It has increased a lot the traffic on the site, so I think that in other opportunities we have to count on it. What I do think is that we should look for the trend there so that it denotes the importance of what is being built and no one is left out in such an epic moment as this.

En mi opinión fue de mucha ayuda utilizar otros medios para que la campaña sea exitosa. Se ha incrementado mucho el tráfico en el sitio, por lo que creo que en otras oportunidades hay que contar con ello. Lo que sí pienso es que deberíamos buscar la tendencia allí para que denote la importancia de lo que se está construyendo y nadie se quede afuera en un momento tan épico como este.

The missions that appeared in Zealy were very good and activated depending on you so you wouldn't miss any of them. They were divided into categories and that made it possible to choose a path, although you could go in different directions at the same time. You guided your own path, which I thought was excellent and an opportunity to rediscover yourself.

Las misiones que aparecían en Zealy estaban muy buenas y lo activaba en función a uno para no perderse ninguna de ellas. Estaban divididas en categorías y eso hacía que podamos elegir un camino, aunque se podía ir en distintas direcciones a la vez. Tu guiabas tu propio camino, lo que me pareció excelente y una oportunidad para redescubrirse.

Maybe what I would change would be some of the daily missions that were very hard and that because of some technical problems made the experience very difficult. For example, the one of commenting to 10 different people, I would have put it in the middle and gradually compensate with other missions so that there is a point of rest, because I found it exhausting and exhausting to continue with the other missions.

Tal vez lo que cambiaría serían algunas de las misiones diarias que eran muy duras y que por algunos problemas técnicos dificultaban mucho la experiencia. Por ejemplo la de comentarle a 10 personas diferentes, pues yo lo hubiese puesto en la mitad y compensar gradualmente con otras misiones para que exista un punto de descanso, pues me pareció agotador y desgastante para continuar con las demás misiones.

Also the mission of "zapfic" (A thread to create stories), which seemed to be a trial and error model to perfect one more use of the threads. There came a time when in a fiction thread someone would respond and create parallel stories since it didn't follow the order that was required, but that was obviously our mistake or a mistake in catching the statement, but other than that, I thought the others were super cool.

También la misión de "zapfic" (Un thread para crear historias), que pareció que fue un modelo de prueba y error para perfeccionar un uso más de los threads. Llegó un momento en que en un thread de ficción alguien respondía y creaba historias paralelas ya que no seguía el orden que se requería, pero eso obviamente fue un error nuestro o de captación del enunciado, pero fuera de ello, las demás me parecieron súper geniales.

I don't think I would change anything else, moreover, when we have the opportunity to think about what to include for a next campaign, I'll be there providing ideas on LeoThreads or wherever.

Creo que no cambiaría nada más, es más, cuando tengamos la oportunidad de pensar en qué incluir para una próxima campaña, estaré allí brindando ideas en LeoThreads o donde sea.

In conclusion, it was a campaign that at the beginning seemed long but as the days went by we noticed that the leaderboard was growing exponentially. More people had joined and those who were already there were starting to need different ways to generate more points. Was it the ace up their sleeve? I don't know, but I do know that they have put in a lot of effort and that is why they are there, in the top positions of the ranking. From this I have very good experiences and very good memories competing with each other but at the same time being very good companions with each other.

By the way, my congratulations to all the participants and winners who gave their all; well deserved applause. Also to those who made this campaign possible.

En conclusión, fue una campaña que al principio parecía larga pero con el paso de los días notábamos que la tabla de posiciones crecía exponencialmente. Más gente se había unido y los que ya estaban, pues empezaban a necesitar formas distintas de generar mayor puntuación. ¿Sería el as bajo la manga? No lo sé, pero sí sé que se han esforzado mucho y por ello están ahí, en las primeras posiciones del ranking. De esto me quedo con muy buenas experiencias y unos recuerdos muy buenos compitiendo entre todos pero a la vez siendo muy compañeros el uno con el otro.

Por cierto, mis felicitaciones a todos los participantes y ganadores que lo han dejado todo; merecidos aplausos. También a quienes hicieron que esta campaña sea posible.

It clearly does not end here. The site will continue to evolve and surely more people will gradually arrive until the adoption of LeoFinance and its ecosystem is at the tipping point and is the pinnacle of success. I will be there to witness that moment, will you?

Esto claramente no termina aquí. El sitio continuará evolucionando y seguramente más personas lleguen gradualmente hasta que la adopción de LeoFinance y su ecosistema esté en el punto clave y sea la cúspide del éxito. Yo estaré presente para presenciar ese momento, ¿y tú?
