¡Por fin me llegó la tarjeta de Binance! - I finally got my Binance card! [ES/EN]
La semana pasada decidí pedir la tarjeta de Binance. Se tardarían al menos 5 días en poder enviarla, pero después de tanta espera al fin la tengo en mi poder.
Last week I decided to order the Binance card. It would take at least 5 days to send it, but after so much waiting I finally have it in my possession.
Admito que estuve esperando ansiosamente alguna notificación del correo, pues no sabía qué compañía me la iba a mandar, hasta que un día recibo un mensaje en el que decía que mi envío de Binance estaba en camino. Sin dudas después de eso mis ansias aumentaron.
Cuando por fin llegó lo primero que pude ver fue una hoja de bienvenida y la tarjeta pegada en un costado. Me costó un poco quitarle el pegamento, no quería lastimarla (hablo como si tuviera vida propia XD), por lo que la retiré cuidadosamente y limpié de su superficie el exceso de pegamento.
Me encontré con una tarjeta muy elegante, de dimensiones pequeñas, que me sorprendió cuando noté que era muy diferente a las otras que tengo. Los datos de la tarjeta están en la parte posterior a diferencia de las más tradicionales. También puedo resaltar que tiene la posibilidad de hacer pagos sin contacto, de forma segura y rápida.
I admit that I was anxiously waiting for some mail notification, as I didn't know which company was going to send it to me, until one day I received a message saying that my Binance shipment was on its way. Undoubtedly after that my anxiousness increased.
When it finally arrived the first thing I could see was a welcome sheet and the card stuck on the side. It took me a while to remove the glue, I didn't want to hurt it (I speak as if it had a life of its own XD), so I carefully removed it and cleaned the excess glue from its surface.
I found a very elegant card, of small dimensions, which surprised me when I noticed that it was very different from the others I have. The card data is on the back of the card unlike the more traditional ones. I can also highlight that it has the possibility to make contactless payments, securely and quickly.
Quizás piensen que la pedí por los beneficios de reembolso en BNB al hacer los pagos. En realidad no fue por eso, aunque sí está interesante recibir un cashback en la criptomoneda de Binance.
La razón principal fue para disminuir la cantidad de veces que recurro a la modalidad P2P. Suele generarme bastante estrés cada vez que hago una venta por ese medio, pues uno tiene que estar una cantidad de tiempo estipulada en la que se deba hacer la transacción.
De esta otra manera me ahorraría ese paso, teniendo a mi disposición una criptomoneda que el mismo sistema de Binance se encargaría de convertir automáticamente a la hora de pagar en algún comercio. Pensé en hacer compras pequeñas con ella, por ejemplo un café con medialunas cerca de la universidad, o tal vez para las compras del día para mi familia.
Lo cierto es que es muy práctica, pues no solo dispones de la tarjeta física, también tienes habilitada una virtual con la que puedes hacer compras on-line.
En un futuro mi idea es tener suficiente $HBD como para generar ingresos pasivos que me sirvan para utilizarlos con esta tarjeta. Obviamente retiraría lo mínimo y suficiente, el resto lo continuaría re-invirtiendo. Así que queda un largo pero asombroso camino que recorrer.
You may think that I asked for it because of the cashback benefits in BNB when making payments. Actually it wasn't for that, although it is interesting to receive a cashback in Binance cryptocurrency.
The main reason was to reduce the number of times I resort to P2P. It tends to generate a lot of stress every time I make a sale by that means, because one has to be a stipulated amount of time in which the transaction must be made.
In this other way I would save that step, having at my disposal a cryptocurrency that the same Binance system would be in charge of converting automatically at the time of paying in some commerce. I thought of making small purchases with it, for example a coffee with croissants near the university, or perhaps for the daily purchases for my family.
The truth is that it is very practical, because not only do you have the physical card, you also have a virtual one with which you can make on-line purchases.
In the future my idea is to have enough $HBD to generate passive income that I can use with this card. Obviously I would withdraw the minimum and enough, the rest I would continue to re-invest. So there is a long but amazing road ahead.
Las posibilidades de uso parecen ser varias. Con la tarjeta física puedes comprar en todo comercio que acepte una MasterCard. Por lo que he visto, las tarjetas que son prepagas tienen esta compañía que está presente en la mayoría de comercios que intentes comprar.
Sin mencionar que se acepta el uso de distintas monedas, como:
BUSD, USDT, BNB, BTC, ETH, ADA, DOT, SOL, MATIC, y varias más.
Lo digo con total seguridad, pues la otra tarjeta que tengo la pude usar en muchos lugares sin ningún tipo de inconveniente. Esta no será la excepción, claramente.
Me faltaría averiguar si es posible retirar desde cajeros automáticos, y en cuáles. Pues aquí existen varios diferentes, por ejemplo de la red Link o Banelco. Quizás por ahora exceptúe esta incógnita, pues por ahora no se me presenta la necesidad de hacer un retiro así.

I still need to find out if it is possible to withdraw from ATMs, and in which ones. Well, here there are several different ones, for example from the Link or Banelco networks. Perhaps for now, I will leave this question open, since for the time being I do not feel the need to make a withdrawal in this way.
Es interesante como plantearon el cashback. Tienes una serie de niveles a la que puedes ascender simplemente holdeando BNB en tu cuenta. Yo como recién comienzo estoy en nivel 1, pero suponiendo que más adelante decida tener 1 BNB en mi cuenta de Binance, desbloquearía el nivel 2, recibiendo un reembolso de hasta el 2% en BNB, que con compras reiteradas, se empezaría a notar bastante.
Para llegar al nivel 3 cuesta un poco más. Recién se entraría si lo sobrepasas, pues si tuvieras una cantidad de 9 BNB, seguirías en el nivel 2, por lo que es un detalle a tener en cuenta. No tengo ningún plan de este estilo, pero nunca se sabe las sorpresas de la vida, por lo que es mejor saber sobre qué otras alternativas existen en las finanzas.
Creo que le daré un uso regular para los gastos de comida, hogar, y algunos que necesite cubrir cuando esté fuera de casa, como dije antes, por ejemplo cuando esté estudiando.
Lo que sí, si obtengo una nueva adquisición con esta tarjeta, se los haré saber a través de un post, aquí en Hive.
It is interesting how they approached the cashback. You have a series of levels that you can move up to by simply logging BNB into your account. As I'm just starting out I'm at level 1, but assuming I later decide to have 1 BNB in my Binance account, I would unlock level 2, receiving a cashback of up to 2% in BNB, which with repeated purchases, would start to become quite noticeable.
To get to level 3 costs a little more. You would only get in if you exceed it, because if you had an amount of 9 BNB, you would still be in level 2, so it is a detail to keep in mind. I don't have any such plan, but you never know the surprises in life, so it's better to know about what other alternatives are out there in finance.
I think I will put it to regular use for food, household expenses, and some that I need to cover when I am away from home, as I said before, for example when I am studying.
