My weekend experience in the city.
This weekend was wonderful for me. It was spectacular, to find wonders and curiosities that nature gives us in our daily walk through the city, something that sometimes we do not realize, because we are engulfed by the nebula of worries in our minds. We overlook curious works that are on our daily paths.
Early Saturday morning I woke up with the task of looking for honey, which is part of the ingredients I use for my candies. I set out on my way to the bus stop to take the P10 bus at the bus stop around 7:30 am in the municipality Arroyo Naranjo which is where I live. I was heading to another municipality called La Lisa which is an hour away, on the way I started to relax with the view of the landscape where curiously I initially noticed the amount of wooded areas that exist in the surroundings, with its green splendor, which helps to relax the view and clear the mind.
Already in that state of nirvana, with a clear mind, I began to appreciate everything that moved around me. When I reached the first half of the trip I dismounted in the Marianao Municipality, to take another transport, boarded and continued on my way, I took some pictures motivated by some classic American cars, Chevrolet brand, which were passing through the city providing transportation service. I took some pictures of the ride as well.
Finally I arrived at the Lisa, in a place called the sidewalk, the view was fantastic, surrounded by copious trees and a lot of foliage, you could breathe clean air, I started walking a total of 10 blocks until I arrived at my friend's house. In the first three blocks I found incredible houses with attractive designs, not only that, but they had certain peculiar trees planted inside that were rare to see in this area, I liked it so much that I started taking pictures, I came across beautiful animals that caught my attention, like a black dog, from what I saw, it professed love to its owner with much affection and the owner was reciprocal. I arrived at my destination, picked up, and started my way back, passing by a block, I found some flowers called pacific sea, it is red in color and predominates in the houses adorning the exteriors.
Returning back to look for the P10 bus stop, I was transported in one of these classic cars, it had wine red upholstery inside, the doors in wood finish, it was air-conditioned and fully automated, it was amazing with what I love cars, it is a new trend that is being used in Cuba, on the way I saw interesting locations. Arriving at the bus stop, in a place called la ceguera I came across a majestic building that functions as a hospital. Its architecture left me speechless. I boarded the bus to return, on the way I came across sculptures made of brass, which gave me thanks, they looked funny, so I arrived home with my honey.
I learned that we must give importance to everything around us, so we must take the time to disconnect with those wonders and curiosities in our own city, so I end my experience of Saturday.
The next day, already Sunday, I get up early again, hahaha, I am an early riser. I was in charge of taking my sweets, known as queques, to my friend @nanixxx, who ordered me 30 units, for her enjoyment. I used the P10 route again, this time it was a 30 minute trip to the municipality of Boyeros, a beautiful town for being part of the Cuban countryside.
On the way already having the experience of the previous day I was enjoying the natural spectacle, when I arrived I dismounted and appreciated the view of the highway where I took a picture of my bag of cakes, I continued walking, a total of four blocks and arrived at my friend's house, obviously as it was early, already around 8: 20 am, I woke her up, she opened the door, I was fascinated by the view, motivating me to take pictures.
I took pictures of the block, I captured beautiful moments of the sunrise. Some little dogs welcomed me, barking loudly, so I took pictures of them, they were cute. I was delighted with a reflection of the sky in a puddle of water caused by the rain that made a mirror effect, where I captured that moment with love in my lens.
Then she opened the door for me, we went to her patio, where she has a terrace and we prepared coffee for breakfast with the cakes, on a table made by herself the most curious, consisting of a car tire with rocks inside and on top a glass plate, the cups are made of clay which give it an incredible look. What a delightful breakfast.
We were sharing about Hive, about writing, post writing, we talked a bit about this beautiful Weekend Experiences community created by @galenkp, who I thank for supporting our stories. Together we madeof us we created a Threads of the moment that we shared in the LeoFinance community.
I gained a lot of knowledge to continue growing in Hive as a content creator, among other details, such as voting for the author of the week, tips on how to write and interact with friends who dedicate their time to comment on our work, we talked about various topics. Nani's dog named Chanel couldn't take her eyes off the cakes and made eyes at me, so I shared a little piece with her, her cat, who was a little crazy, ran out and climbed an avocado tree, it was super fun.
We were talking until 12:00 pm. The patio where we were is super cozy, you feel relaxed by the atmosphere of nature that floods you with emotions, her patio is nicely decorated, it has yellow flowers, fruit trees and good space to plant. I said goodbye to her, walked to the bus stop while selling the candy I had left. I boarded the P10 and started the trip back to the house. Arriving home I spent my time doing housework and working on my posts, with a relaxed mind.
This weekend for me has been great, I gained new experiences in the least thought way, noticing the little things around me, it was relaxing and rewarding. Sometimes we don't have to leave the city to enjoy relaxing views.
