2023 Season 2 Recap!

Hello again! It's @ddrfr33k and @chiren, back again with another season recap! I know, I know. We missed the end of the year last year. I get it. We were both super busy around that time of year. It happens. But this time? We're here, we have the data, and it's time to dive into it! Let's get started, shall we?

This season, 107 streamers topped the leaderboard. The average score across all streamers was 192.21 points. That means, if you scored higher than that, you are above average! Congratulations to you! Our Top 5 continues to change, and that makes me so happy!

1: akisha (936 points)

@akisha is a relatively new streamer, but she's burst on the scene with some epic League of Legends content, but you'll occasionally see her chatting with other Latin America streams. Once again, the spanish speakers dominate the Top 5, and it's easy to see why! Akisha's chat was hopping, with a massive 512 activity score and a respectable 181 builder score. So not only is she bringing in people to chat with her, she's going out and chatting with others. Let this be a lesson to all of you! If you want to be on top, you need to have an active chat!

2: ctptalk (824 points)

This is the first time we've had a podcast on the Top 5, and I cannot think of anyone better for it! @ctptalk is run by @jongolson and @taskmaster4450. It's a fun little hour, talking about crypto, and whatever else you can distract them on! The dominated the activity score with a whopping 615 points, making them the most active chat in the Top 5! Go check them out if you haven't, they're really great people who deserve all the accolades today.

3: ciderjunkie (809 points)

If you don't know @ciderjunkie, you don't know Vimm! Cider has been around for damn near ever, and he's got a huge community here. Hailing from Germany, this guy is awesome and you need to drop by his stream for Tarkov, 7 Days to Die, and maybe even some PUBG or Diablo! Go drop by the deutschekopf and say hi some time! We love you, bud!

4: churchiee (733 points)

@churchiee has been in our Platinum tier for a bit, but this is his first time in Top 5. He started out streaming Battlefield 2042, but has since branched out to War Thunder and New World. You'll mainly see him in the afternoon and evening European time, and he's tons of fun to hang out and chat with.

In all seriousness. If half of you guys were as chatty as Churchiee, you'd rocket yourselves up the ranks, too.

5: shmoogleosukami (624 points)

Rounding out the Top 5 is another Vimm veteran, someone we haven't seen this high in a while. Good to have you back, Shmoogle! If you haven't seen his streams, Shmoogle has a penchant for ARPGs and a good strategy/survival game. Go stop by some time, see what he's up to.

One other interesting thing I noticed: It's amazing how few people actively work their builder score. Actually, our #7 streamer, @eboyluva, acquired almost all of his 614 points from his builder score. Without it, he would barely be in Silver! This just goes to show how important it is to get out there and chat with other streamers! Your builder score can make all the difference.
