Justo cuando estaba a punto de tomar las fotos, los cangrejos desaparecían. I invite you to join me on an exciting adventure along the rocky beach path, searching for the adorable crabs to photograph. In a previous post, I mentioned that during a visit to the beach, I saw several crabs and only managed to take one picture. These little guys are very elusive and quick. I even wondered if they have a sensor to detect the presence of humans. During my walk, I saw several of them and could only photograph them so as not to disturb them. I decided to walk slowly and, when the moment came to take the picture, make as little noise as possible.
But from what I observed, these crustaceans have a very advanced sensor that allows them to detect the presence of humans from several meters away. Just as I was about to take the pictures, the crabs were disappearing. I opted to simply observe them, and in the end, I had a small reward: I managed to photograph one of them, which you can see on the rock. It's a light pink color, and I only managed to take one picture because this little marine friend disappeared immediately.

Disfruté mucho visitando esta zona y viendo la playa, la avenida y los senderos que bordean la pared rocosa. As I walked, I stopped to admire the avenue, the colors in the sky, and the beautiful view of the landscape. I enjoyed visiting this area and seeing the beach, the avenue, and the walkways along the rock face. For those who like to walk away from the beach but still enjoy the scenery, these two walkways allow you to appreciate the beauty of the sea without feeling the spray as the waves crash against the rocks. Although there was little breeze, the waves were moderate, and I could feel several drops on my skin.
The view of the area is very beautiful, and the hill creates a stunning landscape bordering the other side and merging with the beach. According to a resident, the beach once covered what is now Caigüiri Hill. Seashells, limestone, coral, and other remains have even been found as evidence that the sea once covered this entire area of the city. In this space, residential complexes, a natural area like the hill, the avenue, and a beautiful view of the sea and the Peninsula converge.
Walking along the beach is relaxing and a way to connect with nature, as well as observe the beautiful seascapes offered by the coastal strip of the city of Cumaná. Due to its location, it has an extensive coastal area that provides beautiful and paradisiacal beaches, as well as spaces like the coastal strip that have been adapted for the enjoyment of the inhabitants, creating walkways and recreational areas where the family can go to do physical activities, exercise and enjoy the beautiful views of the sea.
