Co.Create Jenius Ghatering

Lately, I, who usually prefer social assistance, have been interested in taking part in meetings to gain important information and knowledge, and also hopefully gain contacts to emulate my experience in the future. After attending the Klook Kreator Party 2024 event last week, now I feel addicted to attending events that will bring me together with new people, such as the Co.Create Ghatering event on March 7.

Co.Create itself is a new platform to accommodate creative ideas from Jenius customers, a digital financial product from BTPN. It is hoped that Co.Create can develop the Jenius function so that it is more in line with digital lifestyles.

So Co.Create is the same as Jenius' blog but open to creators.

I only found out about the existence of Co.Create when Jenius via Instagram invited customers to take part in ghatering. Since winning the #Jalan2Jenius Vlog and Blog contest, I feel like I want to get closer to this digital financial product, so there is no reason for me not to take part in this event even though I am not officially a creator at Co.Create. As I mentioned before, I expect important information and knowledge at this event, so I am very enthusiastic about taking part.

The Co.Create event held by Jenius is very unique in terms of location selection. Instead of holding the event at a cafe or other beautiful places, Jenius chose its.obo, House of Fantasia, which is a home-style cafe. He said, if we want to drink coffee here we have to make a reservation. Without a reservation, our presence will not be accepted. Unique, innit?

In this event, we shared information about what Co.Create is. As a newbie, it was clear that I was really helped by the information that the presenter provided. It turned out that the participants in this ghatering were participants who had attended Jenius events several times. There are only a few people who are completely unfamiliar with Jenius events, one of them, me.

Another unique thing happened when Jenius, via social media, spread invitations for this ghatering. They only wrote Cipete Raya, but the specific location was not publicly announced. Only the creators they invite will be notified of the exact location.

Apart from discussing what Co.Create is, this event also presented two speakers who are experienced in marketing. One of them is, TB Putera, a Creative Marketer who has shared tips on how to create good content for viewers to enjoy. Apart from that, there is Febrian Ditra, a Co-Founder/Creative Lead of Animal3 (an advertising agency) who has created a Jenius advertisement entitled Unthinkable.

Different from other meetings, in this event we not only listened to two speakers, but also interacted with each other. When I first arrived, there were only a few people present. Unlike usual, this time I immediately got to know each other comfortably. I also chatted a lot and exchanged stories with several people sitting next to me.
