Completing Supernova Series

The Supernova series is the only Indonesian novel series that I waiting for.

I remember when I first started the first series, Supernova: Knights, Princess, and Shooting Stars. It was a secondhand, preloved novel that I bought online 10 years ago. At that time I still had no income due still in college, and the price of the Supernova book at that time I could only buy the preloved version. At that time, Dee's novel entitled Perahu Kertas had just been made to the big screen and followed by several of his other books including Supernova: Knights, Princess, and Falling Stars.

Not only the first series, I also bought the third series, Supernova: Lightning (Petir) in preloved stuff. Technology wasn't as fast as it is now so I don't know which came first, so instead of buying the second series, Supernova: Root (Akar) I bought the third series. However, each series has a different character, so when reading it out of sequence, the reader can still relate.

So, my journey with Supernova was stopped because I didn't have enough finances to collect it. Only this year, I can complete it. How happy I am.

Actually, I already regret to collect Novel Series by my favorite author. That's why it took me ten years to read it again.

It started when I read Aroma Karsa last year. It was a very cool Dee novel and made me admire it even more. I got a deep impression when I finished the thick novel. Because it has a similar genre, it reminds me of Supernova which I left on a hiatus. Since then, I've been excited to complete my collection. It just happened this November, after waiting for a discount.

This is 4 series out of 6 series. The other two series are at my parents' house, so I can't really show them. And I can't wait to see the end of this five supernova adventure.

I have got spoilers from various circles. They said that the ending of the novel was not what they expected. I thought, maybe that's the same feeling when I read Aroma Karsa. My expectations about the ending of the Jati Wesi story were very different, but once I did, I didn't regret it. I don't regret reading Aroma Karsa at all.

Likewise with this Supernova Series Novel. Even if my expectations will be crushed, I won't regret it. I deserve my own POV, rather than hearing it from a few disappointed people.

It will be interesting journey. I still read the fifth version, it was story about Alfa, A man from Batak tribe. So far, after Petir, the third version, I more like the fifth version than other versions.
