The Retro Cinema, CGV FX Sudirman

Nowdays, the cinema is one of the most visited places. According to a survey in Indonesia, 95% of millennials and Gen Z like to watch films in cinemas. And talking about cinemas, CGV is one of the largest cinemas in Indonesia. CGV is one of XXI's competitors. Compared to XXI, CGV has an attractive, elegant and retro concept interior design, especially CGV at FX Sudirman Mall.

This cinema is in a mall called FX Sudirman, to be precise on the 7th floor. CGV at FX Sudirman is relatively new compared to CGV in other malls. But this CGV cinema is one of the most visited CGV cinemas because of its strategic location, located next to the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium and Sudirman Highway, making it easy to access this cinema. As for ticket prices, compared to other CGVs, FX Sudirman provides ticket prices that are affordable and not expensive.

CGV FX Sudirman Mall is interesting, for me it is different from CGV in other places I have visited. If you look at it as a whole, the cinema concept at FX Sudirman looks more like a cafeteria which has lots of seating for visitors. That is the different between CGV FX Sudirman Mall with other CGVs.

What can you conclude when looking at the photos above?

Yup, this CGV has a very spacious waiting room. The seating is varied, not only can it be used by several people but can also be used by groups. Apart from that, security at CGV FX Sudirman Mall is not that strict so you don't need to have a ticket to be able to use a seat in the waiting room. This is very helpful for anyone who doesn't want to decide which tenant to eat or hang out at while waiting for other friends.

• Retro Concept

As I mentioned before, CGV FX Sudirman Mall has a retro concept. Apparently, this concept is not only for CGV FX Sudirman Mall, but also all CGVs have a Retro interior design concept. The Retro concept can be seen in the choice of lighting decoration, writing fonts, choice of furniture, and interior color tones.

One unique thing about CGV FX Sudirman is that the cinema seating is half a sofa. What do you think?

• Basketball Court Indoor

Right in the corner of the CGV area, there is a basketball court. Seating is also provided for visitors who want to watch basketball matches. This is also a strategic spot. I've been sitting here waiting for the schedule of the film I want to watch to show.
