My Crypto and IRL Black Friday Shopping !
Hi HODLers and shoppers,
I felt today was a great day to shop in stores/online and in the metaverse/crypto world as we had deals and discounts in both worlds.
I also want to update you on my HIVE stake: I still did not sell a single $HIVE and I am not even looking at the price anymore... That's a good sign as I only do that with Bitcoin and Ethereum. Just saying...
Real world purchases
It has been a while that I wanted a new TV while not actually needing it. I am not watching it a lot but when I want to chill and watch a ncie movie, my old TV kind of ruined the whole thing.
I bought one of these OLED TV as there was a discount. Prices have also gone down compare to years ago.
Even if as crypto investors we do not sleep much, I thought I should treat myself with a nice mattres and bed frame. I ordered both and I am kind of eager to try this new bed out.
Crypto Black Friday
I used some of my stablecoins to buy some Bitcoin, ETH, FTM, SPA, FHM and CAKE.
On the latter, I am wondering if I am not buying a dying asset as it has been in a downtrend for so long... It used to be the darling and now it seems it became boring and therefore speculators deserted it.

yeah but most normies don't hold their own keys they just using apps so its quick to swap to cash so they can buy stuff
I have not bought anything in this Blck Friday, I am little scared of the new variant just that we do not want to go in other lockdown. Though I am vaccinated but still having in another lockdown is actually not great.
Better safe than sorry. I guess we will know in the coming days what it is exactly.
I bought quite a few things, but all online so I don't have to go anywhere and mingle with all the other shoppers. I hadn't thought about people selling off crypto to buy things for black Friday. It feels a little short sighted to do that, but only because I prefer to leave it be and let it marinate.

Oh I did not sell crypto ! I used FIAT money. My stablecoins were used to Buy The Dip.

I didn't buy anything during Black Friday. In a way I am just lazy and didn't feel like searching for deals.

It seems like we had the same idea and took advantage of the situation. Sadly I didn't have some stablecoins waiting around though I was able to buy a little more BTC and then even transition a few remaining KNC I had into ETH.
