The discord currently is a little pointless as the devs dont really come in much however jacob did a comment more like a essay discussing some stuff and also clearing up why they will not have a stablecoin sbd/hbd equivalent.
At the moment it is a pure gamble whether or not it will work 50/50 at best.
Personally gonna take a punt on it as you said cant be any worse than what we have currently(well yeah it could) but oh well.
It is free so nothing to lose i suppose.
Would be cool if spi powered it up and just curated or possibility of a voting bot etc everything is on the table currently and hope it stays that way.
The first discord channel was a defo fail for the project drained in negativity.
This one has alot of positive vibes they are staying away from politics and concentrating on there own project long my it continue.
Time will tell
