Hi everyone, we meet again with a discussion about my Artwork. After previously I drew AZKi and Suisei Hoshimachi from HOLOLIVE, in this post I'm back to drawing Virtual Youtuber. But this time I'm not drawing Virtual YouTubers from HOLOLIVE.

Her name is Fugami Nanana, she is a virtual YouTubers from the agency Stellar Cycle Campus. She (along with Kuramochi Kyoko) was the first virtual YouTuber I watched when I got to know the world of vtubers. Unfortunately, she graduated last year (September 10, 2021). And this time I chose her to be my artwork as my appreciation for her.

Okay, let's move on to the main discussion. The tools and apps I use are still the same this time :

• Ibis Paint X

• Smartphone (Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A)

• 2 thumbs and index fingers of my hand (I don't use any help, like Stylus Pen. It's different if I have a Tablet, maybe I'll need it.)

• [Additional] Built-in Music Player from smartphone (I sometimes can't focus if I'm not doing something while listening to music)

1. The canvas size I use for drawing is default (1000 X 1000 px)

2. Brush for making Lineart, Felt Tip Pen (Hard) ; 1px Thickness and 100% Opacity

3. Brush for Shading, Pen (Fade) ; Thickness and Opacity may vary

The picture on the left is the initial design of Fugami Nanana and the one she always uses in every stream. While the picture on the right is the "real face reveal" of Fugami Nanana behind the paper that always covers it. "Face reveal" was done during her last stream before graduating.

I'm back again using the sample pose from Doll Atelier after previously I used the pose from MUSIC VIDEO (MV).

Drawing Process

This time I'm not going to explain in detail the drawing process (only relying on this GIFs) because everything I do in the process remains the same as I usually do when drawing other characters.

Additional Explanation

• I have a hard time drawing the right hand because in the example pose, the pose of the right hand is like holding something (a glass or something). Meanwhile Fugami Nanana only brought a pen (or drawing pen), and it made it difficult for me to find examples of the "holding pen" hand pose. I even took a photo of my own hand as a reference, but I canceled it because it didn't quite fit. Then I decided to imagine it (although it takes more time)

• The hairstyle Fugami Nanana in the initial design turned out to be different from the design in the "face reveal" version. I only realized this when I was at the coloring stage.
