Hola queridos amigos de #HivePets, espero que se encuentren súper bien, hayan tenido un estupendo día y por supuesto que le hayan dado retribuido todo el amor que le dan sus hermosas mascotas. Hoy escribo este post de manera muy sentimental, porque en el mismo les contaré la historia entre Zeus y yo, que al final no fue tan feliz para nosotros o por lo menos para mí.

Hello dear friends of #HivePets, I hope you are super well, you had a great day and of course you have given all the love that your beautiful pets give you. Today I write this post in a very sentimental way, because in it I will tell you the story between Zeus and me, which in the end was not so happy for us or at least for me.

Zeus es el perrito de la hija de mi vecina y su pequeña bebé de tan solo 2 años, lo tienen por el motivo de que la bebé quería tener un perrito, y su mamá le concedió su deseo regalándole a quien hoy llaman Zeus. El peludido solo tiene 2 meses y medio y a esa corta edad no come la comida adecuada para el, tampoco tenía sus vacunas y lo mantienen encerrado en el cuarto de un apartamento.

Zeus is the puppy of my neighbor's daughter and her little baby who is only 2 years old, they have it for the reason that the baby wanted to have a puppy, and her mother granted her wish by giving her the one they now call Zeus. The furry one is only 2 and a half months old and at that young age he does not eat the right food for him, nor does he have his vaccinations and they keep him locked up in an apartment room.

Hace unas semanas, mi vecina se fue de viaje junto a su hija y nieta, y dejaron a Zeus encerrado en la casa, con un recipiente de agua y un plato de perrarina. Dejaron a mi mamá encargada de vigilar el perro y la casa, cabe destacar que ya conocía a Zeus desde antes, y siempre fue un perro muy nervioso y poco sociable por esa misma situación. Al ver el pequeño perro solo en esa casa tan grande, escondido debajo de un mueble, sucio y rodeado de heces y orina, y más al notar que no había comido nada (por la situación de que no estaba acostumbrado a comer perrarina) me dió mucho dolor y decidí llevarlo a mi casa. Por supuesto, previamente llámanos a su dueña para decirles que le daríamos hospitalidad y para mí sorpresa me respondió que posiblemente me lo regalaran, porque el perro era muy desastroso, no hacía sus necesidades fuera de la casa, destruía cosas y lo mantenían encerrado en un cuarto el cual olía mal por las heces y orina del perro. Inmediatamente me alegré porque las conozco y se que no les gusta tener responsabilidades con animalitos, en el fondo sabía que me lo iban a dejar.

A few weeks ago, my neighbor went on a trip with her daughter and granddaughter, and they left Zeus locked up in the house, with a container of water and a bowl of perrarina. They left my mother in charge of watching over the dog and the house. It should be noted that she had already known Zeus before, and he was always a very nervous and unsociable dog due to the same situation. Seeing the little dog alone in that big house, hidden under a piece of furniture, dirty and surrounded by feces and urine, and even more so when noticing that he hadn't eaten anything (because he wasn't used to eating perrarina) gave me a lot of pain and I decided to take him home. Of course, beforehand, call his owner to tell them that we would give him hospitality and to my surprise, he replied that they would possibly give it to me, because the dog was very disastrous, he did not relieve himself outside the house, he destroyed things and they kept him locked up in a room which smelled bad because of the dog's feces and urine. I was immediately happy because I know them and I know they don't like having responsibilities with little animals, deep down I knew they were going to leave it to me.

El primer día de Zeus en la casa no tenía mucha confianza pero poco a poco se abrió con nosotros y estaba feliz de estar en un hogar dónde realmente le daban amor. En la primera semana aprendió a hacer sus necesidades fuera de la casa, también entendía cuando le decía que no hiciera cosas que estaban mal y aprendió a jugar con la pelota, estaba aprendiendo una rutina y buenos modales y/o costumbres. Lo bañé y le quite todas las pulgas y garrapatas que pude ver en su cuerpo. Para mí suerte en esos días en el urbanismo dónde vivo realizaron una jornada de vacunación, desparasitación y corte de uñas, sin dudas asistí para que atendieran a Zeus.

Zeus' first day in the house was not very confident but little by little he opened up to us and was happy to be in a home where he was really loved. In the first week he learned to relieve himself outside the house, he also understood when I told him not to do things that were wrong and he learned to play with the ball, he was learning a routine and good manners and/or customs. I bathed him and removed all the fleas and ticks that I could see on his body. Luckily for me, in those days in the urban planning where I live they held a day of vaccination, deworming and nail trimming, without a doubt I attended so that Zeus could be attended to.

Fue impresionante la conexión que tuvimos Zeus y yo, en cuestión de días ya no era un perrito tímido y nervioso, era un perrito libre y feliz, muy juguetón y con muchísima energía. A todas partes me seguía, nunca se separaba de mí. Sin pensarlo amé a ese perrito con mucha intensidad.

The connection that Zeus and I had was impressive, in a matter of days he was no longer a shy and nervous puppy, he was a free and happy puppy, very playful and with a lot of energy. Everywhere he followed me, he never left my side. Without thinking I loved that puppy with great intensity.

Al paso de tres semanas y media mi vecina regresó de viaje con su hija y nieta, y su hija vino por Zeus, por más que mi vecina les recomendó que lo dejarán en mi casa ya ella sabe que el pequeño peludo no tiene las mejores atenciones en donde vivía y que una bebé de 2 años no es lo suficientemente responsable para cuidar de un perrito, solo lo ve como un juguete; insistió en llevárselo porque la nietica Mía, lloraba por su perrito. Debo destacar que mi pequeñito no se quería ir, se escondía y al llevárselo se devolvió 2 veces a mi casa.

After three and a half weeks my neighbor returned from a trip with her daughter and granddaughter, and her daughter came for Zeus, even though my neighbor recommended that they leave him at my house and she knows that the furry little one does not have the best care where she lived and that a 2-year-old baby is not responsible enough to take care of a puppy, she only sees it as a toy; insisted on taking him because the granddaughter Mía, cried for her puppy. I must point out that my little boy did not want to leave, he hid and when I took him away he returned to my house twice.

Ante esa situación no pude hacer nada solo desearle lo mejor a Zeus. Y en este puesto es menester mencionar que, un perrito no es un juguete, a los niños hay que enseñarles que los animales son vidas que necesitan atención, cariño, cuidados y una vida digna, un niño de 2 años no tiene capacidad de brindar todo esto porque no entiende estás responsabilidades. Si tú hijo/a es muy pequeño tienes que educarlo para respetar a los animales, y si quieres regalarle una hermosa compañía de estás pero es muy pequeño para entender toda la responsabilidad que conlleva, hazte cargo tú. Pero no los amarres ni encierres solo para cumplir caprichos.

In that situation I couldn't do anything, just wish Zeus the best. And in this position it is necessary to mention that a puppy is not a toy, children must be taught that animals are lives that need attention, affection, care and a dignified life, a 2-year-old child does not have the capacity to provide everything this because he does not understand these responsibilities. If your child is very young, you have to educate him/her to respect animals, and if you want to give him/her a beautiful company of these but he/she is too young to understand all the responsibility that this entails, take charge of it yourself. But don't tie them up or lock them up just to fulfill whims.

Actualmente extraño mucho a Zeus, y de todo corazón deseo que este bien y recibiendo mucho amor
