How We Celebrated My Daughter's Intimate 16TH Birthday 🍰🎈

This is my daughter. She's 17 now, but the photos I'm sharing today were taken during her 16th birthday.

She's a very reserved teenager, but all out when it comes to her friends. She doesn't like wearing fashionable clothes or accessories. She doesn't wear makeup either. She doesn't like buying new things unless the old ones are already worn out or unusable. I think she got that from me. 😁

This is her little cousin. They are quite close. Her cousin loves making things like cards, stickers, DIY toys, or jewelry, then give it to my daughter. They both love animals, especially cats. That's also one of the reasons why we had my daughter's birthday at a cat cafe. They both enjoyed the food and playing with the cats.

She doesn't like being around many people, especially during her birthday. She just wants her friends and close family to celebrate with her. Some people might see her as selfish, but I guess it's better than seeing her feel uncomfortable with unsolicited opinions from someone who was just at her birthday. It's common during family gatherings to compare looks and educational attainments. That would ruin someone's day.

We've all been celebrating our birthdays and important events intimately. No pressure, and we've saved a lot of money and effort.
