Saludos a todos en Hive, comparto con ustedes varias fotografías de dos estupendos pueblitos, que tuve la gracia de visitar y que cautivaron la lente de mi cámara Nikon D3400. No soy profesional pero amo la fotografía. Una de mis asignaturas pendientes hacer un curso de cómo tomar buenas fotos.
Greetings to all at Hive, I share with you several photos of two great little towns, which I had the grace to visit and which captivated the lens of my Nikon D3400 camera. I am not a professional but I love photography. One of my pending subjects is to take a course on how to take good photos.
Siurana, uno de los mejores miradores de España. La aldea de Siurana, en Tarragona, se asienta sobre un impresionante peñasco de roca caliza rodeado de historia, leyendas y naturaleza.
Siurana, one of the best viewpoints in Spain. The village of Siurana, in Tarragona, sits on an impressive limestone crag surrounded by history, legends and nature.
Sus tres calles adoquinadas, a las que se asoman macizas casas de piedra, parecen contener la respiración, creando una atmósfera de respetuoso silencio tan solo rota por el graznido de algún ave rapaz que vuela alto sobre los bosques, acantilados y el embalse que rodean Siurana.
Its three cobbled streets, which overlook massive stone houses, seem to hold their breath, creating an atmosphere of respectful silence only broken by the squawk of a bird of prey that flies high over the forests, cliffs and the reservoir that surround Siurana.
La Reconquista dejó en Siurana una de sus leyendas más conocidas. La de la reina mora Abdelazia, quien se tiró por el barranco con su caballo antes de ser reducida por los cristianos. Hoy, esta historia aún pervive en el mirador de El salto de la reina mora, donde en una de las rocas conserva la huella de la herradura del caballo antes de precipitarse al vacío.
The Reconquest left one of its best known legends in Siurana. That of the Moorish queen Abdelazia, who threw herself down the ravine with her horse before being reduced by the Christians. Today, this story still survives in the viewpoint of El Salto de la Reina Mora, where on one of the rocks it preserves the footprint of the horse's horseshoe before plunging into the void.

Estoy hablando de un histórico pueblo cuyos orígenes se remontan al año 1080 y que, en la actualidad, conserva el mayor recinto amurallado de Cataluña.
