About Rooster Crowing

In ancient times, people in Myanmar knew what time it was by listening to the crowing of the rooster.

But during the day, I don't know. At night, the roosters crow regularly.
Especially around midnight and early morning.

If we hear a rooster crowing before midnight, it is called "old head down" rooster crowing.
This is because the elderly sleep less and tend to go to bed late.
It is said that Dawn rooster crowing if we have heard the sound of rooster crowing near dawn.
If we hear the sound of a dawn rooster crowing, we should get up and trying for life.

There is a Burmese proverb.
"The hen crows and the dawn never dawns".
It will be a proverb that wants to suppress women.
In fact, it is not the dawn of the rooster crowing.
It was almost dawn and only the rooster crowed.

မြန်မာနိုင်ငံရှိ ရှေးအခါက လူတို့သည် ကြက်ဖတွန်သံ ကို နားထောင်၍ ဘယ်အချိန်ရှိပြီဟု သိကြပါသည်။

နေ့အခါ၌ကား မသိ၊ ညအခါ၌ကား ကြက်ဖတို့သည် အချိန်မှန်မှန် တွန်တတ်ကြသည်။
အထူးသဖြင့် ညသန်းခေါင် ရောက်ခါနီးနှင့် မနက်မိုးလင်းခါနီး အချိန်တို့၌ ဖြစ်သည်။

ညသန်းခေါင်ယံ မရောက်ခင် ကြက်တွန်သံ ကြားရလျှင် "သက်ကြီးခေါင်းချ" ကြက်တွန်သံ ဟု ခေါ်ကြသည်။
အဘယ်ကြောင့်ဆိုသော် သက်ကြီးရွယ်အိုများသည် အိပ်စက်ချိန် နည်းပါးလာသကဲ့သို့ အိပ်ရာဝင်နောက်ကျတတ်ကြသောကြောင့် ဖြစ်သည်။
မိုးလင်းခါနီး ကြက်တွန်သံ ကိုတော့ "လင်းကြက်တွန်သံ" ကြားရပြီဟု ဆိုကြသည်။
လင်းကြက်တွန်သံ ကြားရလျှင်တော့ အိပ်ရာက ထပြီး ဘဝအတွက် ကြိုးစားရုန်းကန်သင့်ပါသည်။

မြန်မာစကားပုံတခု ရှိသည်။
"ကြက်မတွန်လို့ မိုးမလင်းဘူး"။ ပါတဲ့။
အမျိုးသမီးများကို နှိမ်ချလို၍ ပြောသော စကားပုံ ဖြစ်လိမ့်မည်။
တကယ်တော့ ကြက်ဖတွန်လို့ မိုးလင်းလာခြင်းလည်း မဟုတ်ပါ။
မိုးလင်းခါနီး၍ ကြက်ဖတွန်ခြင်းသာ ဖြစ်သည်။

သစ်ပင် ပေါ်မှ ကြက်ဖ ကို မြင်ရပြီး ဓာတ်ပုံရိုက်ယူကာ မြန်မာတို့၏ ကြက်တွန်သံ နှင့် ပတ်သက်သော ဗဟုသုတကို မျှဝေပေးလိုက်ပါတယ်။
