You can call 'Burma' country of Myanmar.
I live in Sagaing, the middle region of Myanmar.
This Photos are near the place I live in.
This bridge is called 'U Bein' Bridge.
U Bein Bridge was built by U Bein in 'Taung Tha Mhan Loch' of Amarapura town, Mandalay Region.
This bridge is an ancient wooden bridge.
This bridge was built before Colony age.
So, we use to travel to U Bein bridge as Happy Memorial Trip.

My first reaction was, this is an ancient bridge? Made out of wood? How can that be?

Anyway, its nice to see you post on here. We love stories of people here with photos as the main way to tell them. It would help very much for us to know a little bit more about you, putting context into the lovely pictures you post.

I know from the media at least, that Myanmar had a coup very recently. From our perspective it is quite oppressive and there appears to be a lot of protest and social unrest surrounding this issue. I wonder how did that affect you?
