Autumn Forest in Mostówka Mazovia Poland

Let's, use the time machine and go back a month ago.
In the meantime between renovating our new apartment we head out for some mushroom picking. We needed that pause to wind down because the renovation will take significantly more time and resources to do than we initially thought and planned. Still after month from that time we are not done - not meaningfully further ;(

This year's autumn was not typical golden colour, as you you will see the greens. This photo I took back in November, my instinct told me it really good photo. In December I've received book titled John Berger: Understanding a Photograph. There was a photography from Jitka Hanzlová. When I saw that photo I immediately start to look for connections.

I wanto to share quote from her:

I walked to the forest hills early in the morning when the forest was waking up. Standing there, I breathed in the wind, the tranquil sounds of birds, and the silence that I love. And as I focused on photography, I stopped hearing the silence around me. I felt like I was somewhere else, like in a movie.

The forest was really lush for this period of year. There were stunning views which I have hard time presenting to you. Like this golden coloured tree among pine woods.
I've really struggled tried to edit this photo.

The Forest was easily navigable so I could go really inside the forest.

It is amazing how forest creates a lot of microsystems, allowing life to flourish in all forms.

This lichen found it's place on tree branch, keeping life circle.

this old and deead branch was fully covered in lichens giving us this wonderful picture.

It is not a common thig to see ground covered only with lichens and heathers.
