Today I stood beneath one of the most iconic structures in Paris: the Arc de Triomphe.
More than a monument, it’s a massive stone chronicle of power, memory, and identity.
Commissioned by Napoleon in 1806, it honors those who fought and died for France — and beneath it burns the Eternal Flame for the Unknown Soldier.

Standing here, surrounded by names of battles and generals, you feel small — but not insignificant.
It’s a place where geometry meets symbolism: symmetry, proportion, and alignment give physical form to collective memory.
🧮 As someone fascinated by structure, I’m struck by the mathematical harmony of the monument — its arches, reliefs, and spiral staircases are precision carved to evoke permanence.

From the top, the view is breathtaking: a full panorama of Paris radiating in all directions like the spokes of a wheel.
🌍 A reminder that history is not static — it extends outward, constantly reshaped by those who come to look, to remember, and to walk forward.

Más que un monumento, es una crónica de piedra sobre el poder, la memoria y la identidad.
