Thoughts on taking risk

There can be no great accomplishment without risk. -Neil Armstrong

I write this post as I embark on a new journey, one that involves taking a big risk to secure a bright future.

I have lived a comfortable life since childhood and although I've had many ups and downs that I overcame, I've never taken a so called "Big risk" that would push me beyond my comfort zone.

Due to this, I've always had a comfortable but not so extraordinary life. I have traveled a lot of places, experienced some amazing things and enjoyed all my hobbies.

But there comes a point in your life where you feel that you need to take the next step else you will risk stagnating in life.

That point came to me this year and I finally decided to take the leap of faith.

Without getting into details of what it is that I'm getting into, I'll just say that due to certain factors it involves a lot of risk.

And although my logical brain says this isn't a good idea, somewhere deep down I know and have faith that it will work out in a smooth way.

And that it is needed to take me to the other side.

To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did.

So with that faith, I have finally decided to take the step.

Wish me luck.

I'm sure some big and great things lie ahead.

Finally, I'll leave you with this song. This perfectly sums it up.

Search for a mentor, or someone you can share the idea with. Maybe something what is for you risky for other people will be bisquit.

Risk should be calculated at first before taking it or even deciding it to implement. There is no point to heroism also when we try to just show it to others. Most of the times people do so, but thats a major harm.

But to settle for something build, we can hope for a better future and risk should be taken, if not taken in time - life slows down and no growth there.
