Revisiting An Old Favorite

This is Spring haven, a work in progress. I used an in game template to create this neighborhood because I have never liked playing in the pre-created maxis neighborhoods. I would prefer to have made one of my own but at the time I discovered the download for this I could not remember which version of Sim City to use to make the terrains.

This is the restaurant and nightclub lot I spent two nights making because the first time it somehow got deleted. I also created a sim to be the owner of this lot because Open For Business.. ya know (or not).

This is a fairly open game where you can do almost anything and there are a few secret locations I have been able to get access to but have yet to go and visit them. The reason being is that I am working on a story-line for this town.

This is the Dove sisters. My latest family creation. I prefer to make darker haired darker skinned sims but in my research, while I am not looking for custom content (cc), or playing, I am watching videos that will on occasion give hints or tips on how to have more fun in the game. It is important to have varied sims otherwise all your characters will end up dark haired. This is due to the genetics system built into the game.

This game was originally created by a man named will Wright. It was the third game he made. His first was was Raid On Bungling Bay where he found he had more fun building and decided to study city planning using Christopher Alexander's and Jay Forrester's work for inspiration to make Sim City. After that Will teamed up with Jeff Braun to create Maxis. Ten years later, in 1997, it was acquired by EA and the rest is pretty much history. As of today there are four sims versions with a fifth set to release sometime this year but most Sims players agree that Sims 2 was the best.

All one has to do is do a search for Sims 2 cc and you are bound to find something you like. It is a shame though, that there seem to be more modder's for female content than male. Another reason why I would like to become better at drawing, whether it be manual or digital. I love the look of some of the 3d stuff I see.
