Unboxing a Titan with @wanderwithtwo

We received a really big and heavy box a couple of days ago. It is the much anticipated Titan which hubby ordered almost two months ago and it’s finally arrived!

The Titan is a computer/gaming chair by Secret Lab. It’s a company that’s pretty well known amongst gamers as they make really comfortable, modern, ergonomic and stylish looking chairs. My hubby has had his eyes on these chairs for years but never got on due to space and thoughts of having to move and not wanting to move the chair with him. As we have now moved into a bigger home, we used the excuse of our anniversary to purchase the chair for him.

We opened the box to find a large congratulatory note as well as instructions on how to assemble the chair. Really nice quality and printed on glossy cardboard too.

As we were assembling the chair, Taro decided to give us a hand... I.e. slow us down.

Taro also decided to make the chair his new bed as he got bored.

The instructions were very straight forward and it didn’t take more than 30 minutes to assemble. It’s really good that they provided instructions on how to assemble the chair with pictures.

Pretty cool, it also comes with a pillow head rest. I’d probably use it as a lumber support. The design is also pretty nice and it’s definitely comfortable. It’s a pretty firm chair and is not the typical cushioned or mesh chairs you’d find. The material is also gentle on the skin and you definitely won’t find yourself slouching off the chair over time... unless that’s how you’d prefer to sit on the chair.

The chair also comes with a guide on how to care for your chair. If you take a photo of your chair and post it to your social media, you also receive an additional 2 year warranty on top of the 3 year warranty it originally comes with. I think it’s a good marketing strategy as well as benefit for those who purchase the chair.

The chair itself is a bit pricey even though we got it while it was on sale. I guess it’s because it’s something he’s always wanted so I agreed that we’d get it for him. I did think that hubby needed the chair too as he is now working from home and he’s been using our dining chair the whole time which is hurting his back. His job requires him to sit for long hours at his desk. It’s worth the investment for health reasons too if you think of it in that way.

Hopefully this lasts long and he enjoys it with no further complaints of a sore back or not having a proper chair etc 🙂🙂
