Hello Alive Community!
It's time to share Saturday engagements. I'm back in migraine land (again) so this weekend feels like a wash. I could have attended a baby shower, but I went to bed and woke up with this migraine. I feel a bit like a broken record by reporting migraine in my posts. Honestly, if I allowed them to rule my life, I'd accomplish nothing. I stayed in bed until about 10 am and gave up trying to sleep. I stripped the bed of sheets and put them in the washer. Habits are hard to break and are good to develop and keep. Do you have weekly habits? Daily, I make the bed, Saturday I strip the sheets.

After I threw the sheets into the washer, my husband, Jeff, and I did Bible devotions and prayed together.

This morning, while I was still trying to sleep, Jeff met a friend to purchase a second-hand navigation airplane radio which, once installed in the Cherokee Piper, will enable us to fly in the clouds, or with zero visibility. This opens up a lot more opportunities for travel. Until now, he was restricted to flying only when there is ground visibility. He will need to fly with a trainer to refresh himself on flying with the new radio prior to being certified.
