A Vacation Day, Sort of?
Happy Monday, readers. We were up early this morning. Jeff had to be at the surgical center for a biopsy. I picked him up before 10:30 am. He rested for a while, napped, and went to the airport to work on the old soda machine he repaired to try to stop it from freezing up. It's a mystery still.
I enjoyed the peaceful morning with the house all to myself. I spent that time reading my Bible and devotional. My husband cleaned off the porch and hung the water fountain on the siding. It creates a soothing rhythm.
I spent a little time cuddling with Newt. Usually, he doesn't sit on my chair in the living room. Newt's habit is to visit me in bed when I am reading at night before falling asleep.
This afternoon I put in some more time working on my current diamond art painting project which I ordered from the Temu app. The picture is of an elephant with a two calves. This is the second diamond art painting kit I've undertaken and this is a much larger canvas. The first project I completed was a small butterfly painting. I was able to complete that whole painting in three hours.
